I think Clutch mentioned a couple of these on the front page:

    Amare Stoudemire
    Tayshaun Prince
    Drew Gooden and
    Chris Christofferson.

Christofferson is the 7'2" center from Oregon who worked out with Ming in Chicago. Hopefully radio or tv station will get his take on Ming.

Picking the high schooler would be a very interesting pick. He has a load of potential and the Rockets do have time to "prepare" him while allowing him to play EG first year minutes. The draft will definitely tell where the Rockets will head as far as trades after the picking.

You think he'll be around at #15?

I would also like to see the Rockets pick up Amare Stoudemire with the 15th pick if he is still around. The guy is NBA-ready physically, but needs to work on his game (developing an actual shot as opposed to dunking all the time). Just hope he's there when they make the selection.

I actually sort of liked what I read about Nene Hilario, but that was very little. Wilcox will go too high, but I wouldn't mind taking any of these physical big men with the #15, projects or not. If we grab Yao though, I'd probably prefer we try to get a SF with the #15.

Anyone know if we'll get the chance to hear how these workouts went?

I think even if the Rockets draft Yao Ming, and he does become a real NBA quality type of player, he still won't be enough to stop Shaq.

So along with drafting Yao Ming, the Rockets need a thug/big man type.

Would Florida's Udonis Haslem be that type of player? Some have said that he is one of the strongest seniors in this draft.

The finesse of Yao Ming and Eddie Griffin, plus the a banger like Haslem, should be strong enough frontline to complement Steve Francis.

I also would like to see that we draft Stoduemire with our #15 and TayShaun Prince with our 2nd Rounder!
