The ideal one is: Utah stays 8th, and Rox stay 2nd or 3rd. Rox then will face 6th or 7th Rox will go to WCFs
I don't think the Jazz will reverse the 2nd or 3rd seed, only when facing the rockets does the Jazz play like a contender. so the Jazz will definitely run after us magnetically.
that's also why I want our team to fall to the 4th, because it's more difficult for Jazz to gain the 5th than climb to 6th.
It would be so cool if the Jazz lose to the Spurs tomorrow night. The Jazz are on the road and we know how a bad road team they are. Hopefully the Mavs will beat New Orleans, and then the Jazz will be in 8th.
I think it's a shame that we are so afraid of the Jazz. If we can't beat them down, then there's nothing really cheerful even though we go to WCF! So please, stand up from where you tripped over, ROCKETS!
I know how many feel about the Jazz, that we should play them again and beat them. I get it, but you must understand that it is all about the match ups when you get involved in playoff basketball. You will see the same team up to seven times in a row, and they get to make adjustments for the next game that they don't get to do during the regular season because you play a new team next. If you are paired in a series with a team you do not match up well with, its over. This is just like in the 90s when the Rockets did not match up will with the Sonics. We used to always lose to them and when we won our championships we did not face them in the playoffs those years. Also, on the reverse side the Rockets gave HUGE match up issues to the Chicago Bulls. We beat them many many times, and even Scottie Pippen back in the days acknowledged that. We would beat the Bulls but ALWAYS lose to the Miami Heat, who the Bulls used to kill every time they played. Also a more recent example of match up issues is when the Mavs who won 67 games in the 1st seed lost to the 8th seeded Warriors. Then the Warriors lost in the next round. All I am saying is that I get what you guys are talking about how we should go head on with the Jazz, but there is more factors involved. If the Jazz and Lakers play in the first round, I really like the match up issues we present to all the other teams.
