I am in the market for a new pair of basketball shoes. There are so many out there but I really just want a good outdoor/indoor durable pair. What kind of shoes does Yao, Artest, Battier, Wafer, or any of the rockets wear? I might as well get the ones my favorite players wear. Please tell, if you know!

I reccomend picking up some Adidas. I believe T-Mac and Duncan wear them. I picked up a pair about 6 months ago from Academy for around $70, and they have been a really good.
One thing you absolutely dont wanna do: Buy t-mac shoes. Aside from the fact that they are reebok, you are gonna wear the shoes of a loser, actually the biggest loser in the history of the nba. Yea the truth hurts but we got him in our team. Fail.
Damn you are right, I got those shoes ( yea I know I epic fail on that part ) and I forgot its adidas. These shoes are so fail I forgot who made them, all the fail was absorbed by t-mac.
i used to collect tmac shoes -tmac 2, 3, and 4. they look great, but i cant say theyre the most comfortable shoes out there. 4 is pretty cool without the laces. u want the most comfortable, go for jordan shoes, hands down the best out there
thats terrible really to say "i want to not buy or buy a particular players shoe" i have never been the type to collect shoes or wear specific shoes for fashion reasons. if I buy basketball shoes I buy the shoes that provide me the most comfort not because Tmac wore them or Jordan wore them. I may hate the player but if its comfortable I will buy a pair. I have a pair of melos right now, I cant stand melo but they are great shoes Personally for me the Tmac 5s have been a great pair of basketball shoes. I got a pair of tmac 6s for really cheap and they aren't too bad but not as good as tmac 5s. I thought ron was still with protege but that is a pretty new link with him and Peak...I actually thought Ron was a small co-founder of protege with al harrington and stephen jackson

For me, I have a wider foot and strong ankles so I like the Nike Air Zoom Legend Lows (Kobe's first Nike shoe btw)
what makes you fail even more is the fact that Yao wears Reebok, Tracy Wears Adidas, Ron wore ADidas for a good part of this season and Adidas owns Reebok. So in summing the biggest loser is the face of the company that owns the shoe company of Yao. Seriously come up with something better next time
