Ah, squirrels...They were my best buddies in college.

 

man the squirrels at ucla always kept stealing my lunch whenever i want to lie down on grass and eat on campus.


they also kept waking me up by climbing on me when i was sleeping

 

On the UTEP campus we didn't have squirrels, we had skunks, rattlesnakes, and scorpions. Huzzah!

Maybe we can use the squirrels here to defeat Al Qaeda and the Taliban in the tribal areas? The drones can drop them in with mini-parachutes. They can shoot lasers which are attached to their head...and poop disease (we infect them) at the same time.

Then, they can all return home after they meet at the rendevous point. We will then give them the antidote to cure them. And, they can live happily ever after!

If anybody cares, these are what are known as Fox Squirrels. There is another species in Houston, the Eastern Gray Squirrel which can be distinguished by a white, not tan underside. The Gray Squirrel, in my experience is scarred to death of people and won't get within 20 feet of people.

I have about 3 Fox Squirrels that come around my house and take peanuts out of my hand. One of them will even scratch on my back window to get my attention if I’m not prompt enough with the nuts when he comes around.
