I thought I remembered reading that too. I really hope Marion still doesn't have this "I want to be the man" mentality because it's abundantly clear he's not good enough. He is what he is: a workhorse/garbageman that brings a ton of energy, intangibles and defense. He's one of the most overglorified role players in the NBA today, which is ironic considering his value to a team is generally undervalued given the negative stigma that comes with being a max salary player putting up role player numbers. MLE seems like a fair offer but I don't necessarily expect him to warm up to the idea.
I know Shaq has a home not too far from where I live (north of Dallas), but then he probably has multiple homes in Texas. I could've sworn he had one around Houston, too.
Wow, just when I thought the Mavs couldn't get more ungainly and slow -- this is *awesome*. I'm not sure a Kidd-Oneal pick-and-roll can beat the 24 second clock.
Are you kidding me? I'd say Shaq, Kidd and Dirk is a much better big three than Boston's. Add Howard to that and you have a team which can legitimately challenge the Lakers for most stacked starting 5 in the league. Shaq can provide the low post scoring Dirk has needed ever since he came into the league. Those two guys would be the best PF-C combo in the league.
