Only thing said about Ming was from Fratello. He said that after talking to several coachs/sources at the Boston/ Nets game the other night these sources were all up on Ming highly. Fratello also said that Ming should go number 1. That was it.
Hey carlit since my Info is BS as you put it. You should have seen the look of displeasure on Steve's face when Fratello said that about Ming ,and the utter word of BS that came out of Steve's mouth when the cameras went off of him during the commercial break. But then again me and my source laughed at what was said about MING. BUT hahaha It's BS right? WRONG Nobody's bashing Steve matter of fact I praise him for standing up and being the leader he is of this team. Nobody should be downing Steve BUT you people need to understand Moochie,Cat,and Cato and MO and the whole Rockets Team are a tight Group. Man, I hope Steve knows what he's doing. If he thinks Ming isn't as good as hyped and feels Dunleavy helps the team more, fine. But I really hope it's just basketball and basketball alone.
Troy - I heard some analyst on sportsradio610 yesterday morning say that he thought Dunleavy was the guy (even more than Williams) that could help a team win immediately. Said he can play multiple positions and would create huge matchup problems for other teams at the 3.
Dunlevy is another Walt Williams. About the same athleticism. good handles, good shot, good knowledge of the game. About the same size. Nice guy. Nothing you spend the number one pick on. Doesn't give you anything Walt doesn't give us on a good night. Granted we all assume that Dunlevy will be more consistent. A more consistent Walt Williams just gets us to the first round of the playoffs and out year after year. Trade Steve if he can't stand not being the center of attention or he is so short term thinking oriented.. How about Steve to Chicago for the number two so we can get J Williams? Probably would be sort of like when Sacramento got Bibby for Jason Williams. We might be better off.
TB's been one of the guys that has hate Ming from the get go without reasonable ... well, reason. i too hope this isn't total BS.. or even some exaggerative rumor that he/she couldn't get out of defending and had to keep playing with it. -because right now it is throwing **** into the fan and everyone's feeling the vapors. hope TB is living it up
