    cannot agree.

assume that, posibility that kobe get injured is probably 20%, but i dont see the posibilitity the rox beats the lakers is greater than 10%

we have a legitimate shot of winning any series against any team.... besides the lakers.

in the east i'd consider us the favorite to get to the finals but boston would be a heck of a battle. neither cleveland nor orlando matchup well against us.

in the west, the lakers would likely beat us in 6, the jazz are a bad matchup but not impossible and i consider us the favorite against anyone else.

IF Houston reaches the Finals, they'd better hope the Celtics doesn't reach the finals as well. Boston not only plays better defence than Houston, but also has a triple-threat. Boston is pretty much a more seasoned and (when healthy) cohesive team.

lol get real.... we don't have any superstars, and our success will depend largely on the play of 2nd year player aaron brooks, ron artest (terrible shot selection, very inconsistent) and guys like von wafer..... if the rockets can even push far enough for a game 7 in the 2nd round i'll be shocked.

i'm sorry but the lakers have more talent and better coaching than we do, but i don't consider anyone from the east except for boston being a better team in a 7 game series, also the jazz and denver scare me a little because they have so much depth

Don't overrate Rockets. This season Rockets even has no chance to the final.

But I still believe this team, until we get elite PG and SG.

Brooks and Ron are not good enough for PG and SG as for a champ

    team , period.

The Jazz will magnetically pursuing our butts, I mean the Jazz will try their best to play us again in the first round. I would rather to see our team dropping to the 4th, it's easier to lose some games than to win games. :D

You're kidding about Cleveland right? They have the entire NBA staff headed by David Stern on their side, and anyone that pushes the air within a foot of Lebron will be whistled up. Actual contact might be a flagrant 2.

our team is not healthy either, our injury list includes our No.1 player who earns 22m from our team this season. and he still has one more year left on this contract which will bring him 23m next season.

The only team that I feel we won't have a chance against is the Lakers. Every other team I feel have weaknesses that make them vulnerable, even Utah.

Denver's got the size and athleticism to overwhelm us, but they can be inconsistent. Portland, too, but their defense is their failing and they haven't figured out the matchups.

In the East, we know we can beat Cleveland and Orlando. And if KG is hobbled, we can take the Celts as well.

If by some miracle, the Lakers fall, things can get really, really fun. :)

I wish he gets injured. In fact, I wish all of the playoff teams gets a major injury. It would only even the playing field with us down 21 million in injuries.

I will be very glad if we can make the finals of the west, but I donot consider that we can beat the lakers.

    Don't get too happy yet.
I'm still praying that nothing would happen to our players in our last 5 games. And Landry will come back healthy.

Just look at Manu, injured just before the playoffs. I would be really devastated if I am a spurs fan. Don't jinx the other players to go down on injury, think about our squad get healthy coming playoff time. With this squad healthy, we are really strong enough and have chances to beat any healthy team. Even against the Lakers, although I know it will be tough.

If they and their mates stay healthy, Kobe meets Lebron in the Finals.

Seeing that the Lakers have swept us this year -- let's not get ahead of ourselves here.
