It could be true, but it was just typical locker room drama that really shouldn't be out in the media. Just because an isolate event like that occurs, doesn't make them blood-thirsty enemies. These are adults, they're a little more mature than that.

When I see people like Doc Rocket stating with such confidence how Battier and Yao hate T-Mac's guts, all I can do is laugh and shake my head.

I second this. He worked hard for the team and gave us everything that he got. We can't blame him that he is not an elite PG. Even if we do not give standing ovation, I hope that the fans will clap their hands when his name is introduced.

alston has class. though, i am entirely convinced that the rockets are a better team than the magic, with or without him.

I do not know the detail, man. sounded like he did not satisfy with tracy's inconsistent play due to alleged injuries.

I think he probably was vocal about Tracy not stepping up to the plate.

That doesn't sound like taunting to me.

Well, I can buy that. That's not really "taunting" per se, but whatever.

I'm happy for Rafer, too bad that he will have to be on the losing team Tuesday night.

Rafer wasn't great and Rafer wasn't horrible. He was an average NBA point guard.

Brooks and Lowry aren't the answer eaither. The good thing about getting rid of Rafer is now he Rockets will acquire a top point gaurd within this year or the next.

You of all people telling others to support the players? I thought they were all "trash" to you... that is, except for Big Yao of course.

I don't get where people are saying Alston had the problem with T-Mac... It was Artest.

You sound pretty confident Rockets are wining tonight.

    Ocho Texto???

I'm giving him an standing O tomorrow, without him, there would be no 22 vs. the Lakers, he didn't back down from that thug Matt Barnes earlier in the season, and always stood up for his teammates.

I may even wear his jersey tomorrow.... maybe, maybe no....

Because? You reserve those for when a legend returns or when someone who played a big part in a championship run returns. Rafer had three plus seasons with us and like everyone else never made it out the first round. I got nothing against the guy and wouldn't boo him but he definitely doesn't deserve a standing O.

People still hatin' on Rafer? Please, that's so 2008!
Na, but seriously, Rafer did his best here but it was obviously not enough and it wasn't like he wanted to get out of Houston, he was traded because Rockets didn't want him anymore. Show some class and give him some ovations tonight, he stood up for his teammates and did his best and he liked this team.

Rafer is still being Rafer. Same number of points, assists, turnovers, and rebounds. He's shooting a little better from the field (40.5%) but is significantly worse from the 3 point line and free throw line. I'd say they're bound to turn on him sooner or later but the honeymoon may last long enough for Jameer returns.

exactly, Magic wouldn't have been that good if Jameer hadn't played beyond his levels of the past several seasons, what Rafer needs to do for the Magic is just to hold the weight which has already been lifted by Nelson, but he still struggles. Magic has already quited the club of eastern giant 3 since Nelson is done for the season.

why boo Rafer? like others already said he always gave his best. Second, i still think that if Rafer wasn't injured we could have gone to the 2nd round last year. Third, hopefully Orlando can beat the cavs and the celtics because i cant stand those teams.
