No the rocket were in fact the second team to clinch in the west because they had secured the tie breaker against the Suns but that time.

I got a message on facebook saying that exact same thing, but when I checked the phoenix loss pushed both houston and san antonio into playoff contention because they had the same number of wins, but SAS had one fewer loss.

When the Suns lost to Sacramento that put them at 42-34, which meant they could win no more than 48 games.

That night, the Rockets, Spurs, and Nuggets all had 48 wins, guaranteeing at least a tie. The Rockets and Spurs both owned the tie break on the Suns, and combined with the Suns' terrible record against other Playoffs teams meant that neither the Spurs nor Rockets would wind up on the bottom of a multiple team tie break featuring the Suns. The Suns were 2-1 against the Nuggets with another game coming up, so they could in fact have won a tie break over the Nuggets.

So the Rockets and Spurs both clinched at the same time. The Nuggets were the fourth team to get a spot.

    You are talking about ESPN?
BSPN still has Ming as the Last (family) name on their player list after 7 years. They still cannot figure out what is the family of Chinese.

Why would we want to sign Nash if he is on a big decline and the Suns won't even make the playoffs this year?
