I loved both of those dunks for different reasons. Yao's dunk was awesome because he was saying.....MY HOUSE...young fella.....and it was PURE power... Wafer's was awesome because it was so athletic, and exactly what this team needs from the SG position. DD
Yahoo gave the dunk of the night to lebron over wafer. It pales big time compared to wafers. I don't understand why everyone tries so hard to sell lebron to the ppl.
i agree and also you have to have seen the blazers possesion before where oden was trying to dunk it and twice failed and then to turnaround and yao do it over him was cool. i had a great time at the game.
IMO Von Wafer's dunk was just a sick dunk. He didn't poster nobody. If he didn't reverse it then it would have been something else. Body to body contact and making a dunk would be considered being posterised. Yao Ming well was a Yao Ming dunk. If you really pay attention to it the ball barely went in as it hit the rim when Yao dunked it. Best of all is that the Rockets won and are 1 win away from having a 50+ winning season in the past 4 years.
Wafer's dunk was probably the Rockets dunk of the season! I literally jumped up and cheered when I saw that!
Wafer has potential with this Rockets Team. He filled in nicely for that YOU-KNOW-WHO (The famous quote in Harry potter)
lol According to some posters, it would of been better for Yao to try to shoot a hook shot because he felt Oden was going to block him.
lol seriously. I rewatched it probably 3 times trying to figure out if that was even a dunk. It looked like a "superman dunk" where he just threw it in!
I don’t get how Lebron's was Dunk of the Night when in the Top10 Plays it was 4th and Wafers dunk was 3rd….and they didn’t even show Yao's dunk at all. Do these people even watch??? As for the Dunk contest next year, Lebron better come up with something, cause the only two dunks he knows aren’t going to cut it.
Since James White is going to be on the roster, I wouldn't be surprised to see the NBA put his name in a youtube voting contest. Needless to say he is almost a sure bet to be in it agaisnt Lebron.
they didn't show yao's dunk because yao BARELY dunked it. you can't be serious if you're actually whining about yao's dunk (that barely went in) not being a top 10 play of the night.
