For anyone interested.... Every year there is a relatively inexpensive bundle of MAC software known as Macheist. This is the 3rd year that it has been going on and is in its last few days. The total price is $39 and there are some useful programs included. You can get information and see the bundle here: http://www.macheist.com/ For me WireTap Studio was worth the price.
Considering it ends in 2-3 days, that probably won't work. In the past, there has never been a problem getting them unlocked, but the price was $49. This year with the price drop, they have had a harder time getting to their goal.
Once they get to $400K, they will unlock BoinxTV. They will then reveal the amount needed to unlock Espresso and The Hit List. I suspect it will be something attainable. One of the cool programs that is available is Delicious Library. It allows you to use the camera on your Mac to scan in the barcodes from software, books, DVDs, CDs, etc. and create a library of all of them.
Still trying to make up my mind on if I'd actually use any of it, but feel free to post you're referral link if I do end up buying in.
Just bought the bundle. I should have asked you for your referral code to give you the extras. I'm fairly new to the Mac game so are there any other quality apps out there I should be aware of?
I just bought the bundle and got the bonus apps. Great apps, Great price, great for charity. It was hard for my Mac geekiness to resist
Thanks, but the referral apps aren't appealing enough to me. I have the Koingo suite already. If any of the other guys that bought it wants to post theirs you can go through them. PhoneView is kind of handy to use with a Touch or iPhone. With the exception of WireTap, I probably wouldn't buy any of them standalone, but since I get them in the bundle, I tend to use them once in a while.
I wouldn't mind the utility pack if anyone else buys in: http://www.macheist.com/bundle/u/315613/ Still haven't decided if I'm going to buy the bundle yet, but if I do I'm happy to do it through a referral link.
World of Goo is actually a very fun game - puzzle type - and pretty highly rated. I think regularly it's about 20 bucks on it's own. The only other things that interested me right off the bat were phoneview (transferring all sorts of data back and forth from the iphone) and Delicious Library 2 (uses the isight camera on a mac to scan movies, games, etc. and catalog it). So those are some nice additions.
edit: I went ahead and did it. I used your referral link. I figured the iPhone app and the recording app both looked pretty good. I'll probably get some use out of the others as well. Plus it's good to support some indie developers and donate some of the $ to charity as well. I split my donation between the charities, what are others doing? Here's my referral link if anybody else wants to get in. Hopefully 2 people will use it, I'm definitely interested in the koingo utility pack: http://www.macheist.com/bundle/u/317475/
here's my referral link http://www.macheist.com/bundle/u/176536/ . there's only one day left and it's fully unlocked so have at it and thanks if you use my link.
