QFT- if I could rep you, I would. 100% true. I hate it when people make Dick Vitale out to be some great announcer or ambassador- he's never been good at either. He's a lot of hype, and little substance. Without a doubt, he was at the right place at the right time, and had he been replaced by someone else in the booth many years ago, nothing would have changed. The guy knows barely anything outside of Duke basketball, and I bet Corso could probably give a better analysis. I wouldn't be surprised if he actually lost Hooters some customers, BABY!!
Dan Dakich was an Indiana guard (wing?) who apparently had the biggest hand in shutting MJ down in his last NCAA game. Now, I don't know how down MJ was shutted, it could have been a 20 point game for all I know, and I don't know how much of it was Dakich, MJ, or the overall Hoosier D. Never seen the game. But that's the legend.
