That lineup gets my vote as well.

But in an ideal world, with everyone healthy, I'd go with:

    Brooks, McGrady, Battier, Scola, Yao

that plus Lowry/Alston, Wafer, Artest, Landry coming off the bench? Championship material.

Brooks, Wafer, Battier, Scola and Yao is the best lineup. Wafer over Artest because Ron looks for his own shot first and Von is much better at creating for his teammates.

2nd unit would be: Lowry, Artest, Hayes, Landry and Scola. It won't score as much but is much better defensively in return. Artest will also be able to shoot more often because he is the best offensive player in this lineup and wouldn't be wasting Yao's minutes since he rarely passes to him.

I guess I should have named the thread...which lineup do you like...since the one I liked never actually started a game.

I don't understand why wafer doesn't play with Yao more often. He is at his best when he can knock down open 3's or drive the lane w/o having to think. When Yao's in, the opposing bigs are paying attention to him so Wafer doesn't have make decisions on the move. Artest is at his best when the paint is open for him to go to work. He had his best years when he played with mobile big men like Brad Miller and JO. IMO, he plays his best when he's on the court with Scola and Landry but not necessarily Yao.

That is EXACTLY why I want Wafer playing more....he fits better with a Yao oriented team whereas Artest is more of a ball stopper....who needs space.

I thought we played our best offensive basketball when Rafer was hurt and we ran Brooks, McGrady, Battier, Scola, Yao and had Artest off the bench. It was only a couple of games but I never saw us execute better than that.

I think the best one was:

    Brooks
    McGrady
    Battier
    Scola
    Yao
    <br>
    My favorite rotation was:

    Brooks (Rafer was starting though)
    Wafer
    Battier
    Scola
    Yao
