Hmm, this site won't last through the day. You can't use "NFL" in your web address as it is a trademark.
I didn't read the article but isn't using steroids still legal pre-NFL and post-CFB. I mean, not legal, but nobody can do anything about it. I think it was a tackle from Northwestern that the Steelers drafted that took steroids pre-draft because he could, he didn't really hide the fact.
He probably wasn't on steroids at USC. http://media.www.kaleo.org/media/st...ackle.Up.For.reasonable.Testing-2797803.shtml Kids just roid up, improve their performance, while not under anyones jurisdiction. Apparently you tie any recurrence to your bonus and there you go, loophole that everyone can be happy about.
Seems to be if this NFLdraftBible.com is telling the truth the USC boys' agents have powerful friends.
If this is indeed true, & the Texans are smart enough to pass on Matthews, this is good, as they now probably won't reach / waste a pick on him. .02
Didn't think Pete Matthews is related to Bruce Matthews, they are cousins. Bruce taught at my old high school and coached a little too. His son is like sophomore and I think if he's not on the roids, he must of started taking protien shakes at the 8th grade.
Remember Brian Bosworth. Before this story, if I was to name a player on USC most likely to be on steroids, it would be Taylor Mays, a safety. That guy is almost like superman, almost too good to be true. I've never seen him without helmet and pads, but watching what he does on the field is almost unbelievable. One of these days he is going to seriously hurt an opposing player.
