All Rockets fans should miss a healthy Tracy Mcgrady, I think most of these answers were just mad at the fact that he quit on us so i think this poll is unfair. I have been watching Tracy since Toronto and I live in Florida so i always watched every game i could just to see him play. Tracy is the reason I even became a Rockets fan so for me it hurts to not see him play for so long again and who knows when he will be back(if ever). I wished he would have just taken the season off and just strengthened his knee for 4-5 months because with microfracture surgery I doubt he can even be effective anymore seeing how the league is only going to get better while he is getting worse. Tracy is still my favorite player but I just dont see it in him anymore and I think he should think of life after basketball now. He says he can go back to previous form but its not possible, he has been declining for a few seasons now and you can see his highflying days are long gone now. I wish him the best and hope he proves me wrong but I just know its too late for him to get back to anywhere near his old self. If he comes back next year he will only be an important role player at best

He was VERY missed tonight against the Lakers. I think he would have owned Ariza and scored 30-40 on the Lakers, and we probably would have won the game.

Or having a legit 2 guard.

Artest is a hella 3 and decent 4.

I think when people say they miss McGrady, they miss the McGrady that was actually healthy enough to play solid basketball.

Just look at the first game of last season. Not this seasons McGrady. Hook me up when you can play with a knee that needs surgery.

Or maybe the McGrady who would actually rehab. Actually such a thing probably doesn't exist.

Seriously, McGrady could very easily drop 30 on the Lakers and the Rockets would still lose because he was taking too many shots and dominating the offense.

i really don't tkink it is fair to blame t-mac at all. look at wade last season and compare it to this season.

T-Mac returns next year and will win a title. we sign him for 5 more years and he will retire as a rocket. yeppp

I'm sure you enjoyed today's game without McGrady, since you know, without the cancer, our offense was all motiony and fluid and stuff.

After watching what Ron did in the game against other top scorers in the league,he's just tryna bite more than he can chew,he should do what he's capable of and don't force to do anything he can't.

Right now I kinda miss a healthy T-Mac,who can easily compete with someone like Kobe,D-Wade or even LeBron on offense. At the crucial moment,we don't quite have a go-to guy to close out the game, and when we're trailing by the double digits, who's gon' step up fo' us to catch up?Ain't nobody on this team could possibly do that. That's what I'm worried about come the playoff time,it ain't gon' take us farther than the first round of the trip to the playoff if we keep playin' like that. :(

that's what i'm wondering. has our offense REALLY been more "fluid" and full of "motion" since tracy's been out? i really don't think so.

with tracy out, we just have more of a consistency b/c we don't have that question mark whether tracy plays or not.

there's really no question if tracy was relatively healthy, he'd still be a force on this team. there's really no question.

but he's gone. hopefully the team gets better b/c we REALLY need a favorable matchup to advance out of the first round.

Even though the cancer isnt playing, he's still taking $20 million from our salary cap.

if he could play right now, the team would gladly welcome him back and we all know it. morey knows this team is missing something and fans see the same thing when we watch the team the past few weeks. hell, a tmac of last yr would do wonders for this team.

Actually, with Artest on the floor,I don't quite see the fluid offense. The ball movement is bad when he's on the court,he dribbled dribbled dribbled into the crowd and lost the ball. He's flat out a ball stopper lately.

I hate how people say if a healthy Tmac comes back, he mess up the motion offense. I ask myself, yea maybe. But so what? HELLO!!! A motion offense is set up to score points. PERIOD . A healthy Tmac can score points as WELL!! And a healthy TMAC can score points down the stretch and carry us when pressure gets tough.

The WHOLE game is about scoring points, it is only how a team implements how to score to win the game.

that's not the point. the point is people claim without tmac, our offense will be smoother, with more motion, more fludiity. i don't see it. i see artest, yao... going 1-on-1, brooks using pick and roll...

the only person who consistently moves around in this offense is luis scola. THAT'S IT.
