Fakers cheat too much, refs are on their payroll, Adelman is incompetent, and Aaron Brooks sucks worse than Luther Head.
It's not that they can't pass to Yao, it's how much they're willing to pass to him or how much they're looking to pass to him. As i said before, if you want to win ANY GAME, just pass the ball to Yao in the post. As i watch the game, they're not EVEN LOOKING to pass to him...they're just passing around having Yao doing stupid shyt like pick n roll. I mean how dumb can you get as a team if you don't know how to utilize your talents to the max.
Exactly....they make too many mistakes during the game that add up and kill them down the stretch. Turnovers, missed free throws, bad shots....all will add up to another 1st round loss if they don't figure it out.
It is very difficult to get Yao the ball when you have guards tahat can't create. Brooks and lowry don't have offensive games at teh 1 spot. They can't come down and take you to the hole or bust a 3 pointer in your face like kobe. Therefore you are coming down the court telegraphing Yao a pass for 15 seconds. predictable to defend
The Rox just aren't on the level of the elite teams. They can't execute down the stretch, they don't run the offense. The biggest indicator of how badly they play the offense is the TO's. That said, hopefully they get past the first round this year even if they can't actually advance after that.
There was a lot of reasons why we lost this game, but one this is poor point guard play...i can name a bunch..
Every team attack our point guard. Ron's IQ is very low. No Team bascketball. AB's confidence become lower, he can not hit now. No O plane now. Is this the practice for playoff?
Watching this game, I realize what a mistake it was for this team to even to try to make the playoffs. Neither our supporting cast nor our coach is championship caliber and at the very least, it would have been smarter to do a fire sale just to get some picks in the draft (given that we traded away this year's picks to pick up one ballhog and unload another). I'm tired of watching Adelman leave in the stupid and/or out-of-control players (Brooks, Wafer, Barry and Artest) when they continue to make one bone-headed play after another. The bench is not just there to give Yao a rest - it's there to settle down (or discipline) the idiots as well. Stop being the players' buddy and unload on them in a game for once. If they can't take it, then they don't belong on this team. This game should also be a clue to Morey to unload Brooks while he still has any value - the guy is not starting PG material. Lowry looked great tonight and should have closed, but Adelman once again sticks with the r****ded midget. And as far as I'm concerned, screw resigning Artest or Wafer - they're both blockheads who make as many bad plays as they do baskets. It hurts that we won't get any value for either of them (unless we do a sign-and-trade), but I see no future for either of them on a championship team.
It's the fault of Yao and his fans. Let's trade him for a bag of chips. His fans can be gone. "Real" Rockets fans can enjoy the game and the board. As a fake Rockets fan myself, can go back to enjoy those glorious lottery seasons, or live in the memory, that we were great before.
I also wish that Shane would stop with that high school defense against Kobe. Please body him up and try to block the jumper.
