The Dallas Stars have been forced to remove it's message board. For those who haven't visited it lately (or at all) it was extremely active (with more posters than CC) but was plagued by posters who were participating in 'trash talk,' and discussions which were inappropriate. Apparently it degraded to the point where they felt it was no longer salvagable, and detrimental to the team. Kudo's to Clutch, Jeff, and others who work hard to keep this board on the straight and narrow. It's difficult to keep a board on track, and even more difficult to fix it when it strays. This is a perfect example of why a strong group of administrators is important. While I am in favor of 'free speach,' the free speach on a private board should be within boundaries, or you loose the intent of the board. Thanks to all the Clutch City Administrators. You make a difference. Keep it up! ------------------ Stay Cool...
Open Letter on the Stars Web Site: Dallas Stars Fan, After much consideration, the Dallas Stars discussion board has been removed from the web site. When we introduced the discussion board, it was important to the Dallas Stars that it remain a place where fans of all ages could enjoy discussing the team and hockey in general. Unfortunately this was not possible. We at the Dallas Stars appreciate your participation in the discussion board and thank you for your loyalty and support. And thanks for being part of the Dallas Stars team. Go Stars! ------------------ Stay Cool...
DC... There is more here than meets the eye. Clutch and crew are more than just strong administrators. They are cyberborgs. Dallas fans will be assimilated!! They undermine NBA opponents by first hooking their fans to DSL lines connected to the mind of the One...Clutch. You read our clutchaholic threads...Jeff wrapping USB lines around his arm, and noticed all the foreigners connected to the One in the Geographic Make-up thread. Not to mention how GYHAS is slowly posting more and more...and less and less about Bibby. We move to San Antonio, next. Once their fans are assimilated, Duncan comes to Houston.
dc, The same thing happened to the houston chronicle forum's. People posted using some kind of codes (or maybe I am getting old )Their posts had nothing to do with the rockets and they trashed anyone who talked about them. This is BY FAR the best forum I have seen. (The new york times forums are awesome, but some posts get lost in the shuffle) I actually found a few Rocket fans that post on there. ------------------ I had amnesia once or twice.
