Lets say you guys were driving a 99 Mountaineer and after hitting around 70 mpg's, your car starts shaking, more noticeably at the front right tire area, almost simulating a flat around that area but no flat.

Would anyone have an idea as to what might cause this?

After slowing down to check and then staying under 55 no shaking.

I'm no car mechanic, but check to see if your wheels are out of balance. Outside of that, check your suspension/cv joints/rods, etc (which is even scarier considering what can happen if any of those fail at high speeds).
