sigh, the suns really are going to put up 140 this game. gotta get physical with them. if only the rockets didn't go out drinking till 4 am.
67 POINTS I wouldn't care if they were trying but their a half no a full step behind Phoenix. The Suns look like they are warming up missing absolutely nothing with no one in their face. Someones got to step up !!!!!!
we look a step slow on defense too. Yao gotta steps up on the help defense. Hill and Barns just keep on running the stagger picks around shaq and get into the paint. Yao has to start defending those or else they will continue to shoot red hot the 2nd halve. We all need to turn up a gear on the defensive end or else we will get buried by the end of the game.
Richardson blowing by Battier about 5 times and getting a wide open dunk is not our defense? You give any team in the league that much space in the paint and let them get easy dunks/layups, they will be "Hitting" too.
The Suns are a good scoring team, but there is no excuse for this. 67 points is way too many, and let's not get into the rebounding stuff. Scola is seriously having an off night today, but I'm not understanding why people are blaming Battier for things right now.
the shots are uncontested because they're scrambling off of picks and on fast breaks, the ball is faster than a player, they're not even giving time to actually play D or are doing a great job of moving the ball to get Houston scrambling on defense, which leads to open shots and they're hitting them...
The guys are not focused. They played a very sloppy game so far. Any team can beat them with this type of intensity. Look at the rebounding difference. You can't say Sun is a better re bounding team. But they out-rebound Rockets by miles in the first half.
the suns won't shot that good the second half... if they do, it just aint our night... if we finish the season 500, I'm happy. honestly
Sigh...Yao has developed a habit of not showing up for great WC matchups. The last time I can remember him having a good game against a great team is against Cleveland. I can't even remember the last time Yao had a dominant performance against a Western contender. Maybe against Dallas? eh Discouraging. Law of averages says he's bound to have one great game though somewhere and he always seems to have strong second half performances. As long as we work on transition D, Yao wakes up and Brooks stops screwing around (seriously, the man is statistically a wonder; I don't understand how he gets so many positive things out of negatives at least box score wise.) we should be alright.
