If this is true, Cheney is truly stepping up to the line of treason.

You should serously be demoted to rookie status for this thread. Horrible effort. You put very little time into the thread, it's of no quality whatsoever, you link to a libpig site, and the linked article is based on rumor and speculation. Just a horrible thread all around.

Hear me now. We must not devalue this great website with these types of garbage threads. We must not. We can not. WE WILL NOT. THOU SHALL NOT.

We know that Cheney has been lying to Israel about Obama; to the point of undermining the new administration. We know that Cheney has agreed with Rush in hoping for the failure of Obama. Recently Cheney has said that he thinks America is less safe with Obama as president.

Is this the mainstream republican attitude towards the new president? Or is this the attitude of extremists?

i thought he was already guilty of treason once he sol out the CIA lady?

Cheney is awesome, except for the leaking the name part. Very few VP's have blasted a dude in the face with a shotgun.

I am pretty sure you are going to be killed in your sleep tonight or served a No_Knock warrant resulting in your and your dog's death.

I would drive around all night and buy a gun tommorow if I was you. Then apologize constantly and hang a picture of Cheney on your wall.

See, I was going to complement you on your parody skills...but in actuality, this is more fact then farce.

So...well...SWT, if ever your CIA/FBI handlers bring you north to Canada, I'll have a donut for you in between your water boarding sessions.

Might not matter. Cheney should never have been allowed to come this close to power. Whatever shadow groups (he's exactly that kind of guy) he left behind will probably linger for a long time.

You should seriously (notice the correct spelling) be demoted to rookie status for your continued insistence on policing this forum when you have no power whatsoever to do so. You never put any time into your attacks, they serve no purpose, and they are a cesspool of name calling and vitriol. Just horrible posts sprinkled around the site like dog turds.

Hear me now. We must not devalue the worth of the moderators and owners of this site with these turd posts. We must not. We can not. WE WILL NOT. THOU SHALL NOT.

Someone should really strip mcmark of his thread-starting capabilities after this disaster.

Here's more for your reading pleasure Jorge --

GOP to Cheney: Please go away

When Dick Cheney was vice president, no one knew where he was half the time. If some Republican members of Congress had their way, he would have kept it that way even after leaving office.

"Displeased with the former vice-president's recent media appearances, Republican lawmakers say he's hurting GOP efforts to reinvent itself after back-to-back electoral drubbings," the Hill reports Tuesday. The paper quotes one congressman, Tennessee's John Duncan, as saying, "He became so unpopular while he was in the White House that it would probably be better for us politically if he wouldn’t be so public... But he has the right to speak out since he’s a private citizen."

The problem, of course, is that by the end of the Bush administration, there were some strains of the bubonic plague that were more popular than Cheney. And with former President Bush doing his best to shy away from post-presidential controversy for now, Cheney's frequent public appearances make him an attractive foil for the Obama administration. That's, presumably, the reason for the president's rather sharp responses to Cheney recently.
