To get to 20-10, Yao needs to average....

As long as AB being the starting PG and Scola being the starting PF, Yao won't get 20/10.

Not able to average 10 rpg actually is a good thing for the team, but not able to average 20 ppg is not, since Yao is the most efficient scorer for Rockets except Landry.

 

AB is learning, give him some time.

 

In that case, we shouldnot have let Yao have a rest in the 4th qtr during the game against Clippers. . He might add 10+pts and 5 rebounds more.

But the rest of 8 games are tough considering the teams we'll be against. IMO, it's quite hard for him to guarantee a 23.5/12 per game. He may achieve one out of two but not both of them. let's wait and see

 

I just want him to keep his perfect stat from the arc.

 

I'm afraid he will not make it because he is such a unselfish team player. He took so few shot attempts. He defer so many rebounds to scola and Landray.

 

but I would like yao to take the shots instead of giving them to those inconsistent shooters.

 

Thanks - I wondered the same thing but lacked the initiative to parse the numbers. It would be fun, yes - but not, oh no - not, at the expense of the 'tournament'.

eat your words, yao averaged over 25pts a couple of seasons ago, and AB is an absolute upgrade than Rafer.

Yao needs a combination of 25 rebounds in the last 2 games to get that 10 RPG average.

...He would also need 71 points to get that 20PPG (doubt that happens).

 

So he only needs to average 36 and 13?

 

Why is 20/10 that important? So if he averages 19.5/9.5 he's that much worse?

 

Don't really care if he get to 20 pts. I just want to seem him get to 10 rebounds a game, and honestly if he can't get 13 boards against a NO team without chandler and then against Dampier, then he is not focusing. Especially after him owning Aldridge and Howard.

 

Just 2 games left to do it. I know its not a big deal but 10.0 looks so much better than 9.9. Just like in baseball you want to bat .300 not .299. 25 Rebs in the last 2 games is all Yao needs.

 

AB is an absolute upgrade than Rafer?how?he may get more points than rafer,but he has no pg skills,don't know how to pass,how to run offence.rafer and ab are same level,we have the worst pg in playoff teams..
