    3/29/09 Game Thread

Dallas @ Cleveland -- Big game here, Dallas will probably lose.. Cleveland is at home and Cleveland does pretty well against +.500 teams.. Go Cavs!

San Antonio @ New Orleans -- This game should be a close one... I hope the Hornets can beat the Spurs here.. one game closer in the loss column to them then, and the Hornets are also at home, Go Hornets!!!

with nola being 5-5 in their last 10, including losing their last 2, they've dropped back far enough for me to feel comfortable rooting for them.

i think it's also pretty safe to say the cavs will win.

Cavs will beat the Mavs unless they don't take them seriously. Spurs will beat the Hornets. Both games seem safe picks.

The Hornets and Mavs are battling to see who will finish #7 and avoid getting swept by the Lakers in the 1st round.

I dislike the Hornets but if the Rockets have a chance to catch the Spurs, I guess we should want the Hornets to win.

If we want the Southwest title, we really want the Spurs to lose tomorrow. It gives us a much better shot at the tie break. Only having to make up 1 more loss on the Spurs doesn't sound so bad. Having to make up 3 seems impossible.

The Hornets are going to tank with their schedule coming up. I'm not worried about them catching the Rockets.

Cavs will destroy Dallas at home. Mark Cuban will cry.

I don't know about the Hornets game. You never know which Hornets squad will show up. If it's the hard-working smart one, they'll beat the Spurs. If it's the lazy, uninspired one, the Spurs will destroy them. I think it'll be the former today. There's too much on the line at this point. The Hornets don't want to fall to #8 or even stay at #7. I'll take New Orleans at home.

The Hawks get the win at home and stop the Lakers' 5 game winning streak. I don't really consider this an upset with the way Atlanta has played at home.

The Suns have lost 2 straight and lost any realistic hope of the Playoffs. They're going to annihilate Suckramento to take out some frustration over last night's choke job.

I don't like that at all. The Hornets really have to bring it the entire game to win this one. I hope they're mighty pissed off about how that Knicks game went down.

The cavs' interior defense and offense suck! They are a jump shooting team now.

Even after all of this sucking in the early going, the Cavs are only down by 4.

They're definitely going to win this game. Mavs just don't have it anymore.

I am wondering how many tech fouls has Rick Carlisle got? Has he set a record for a coach?

The Cavs wait until the 3rd quarter to finally slap down the Mavs.
