Dikembe joined us on our 20th episode to talk about his foundation and how you can help. We had a lot of fun with Deke and I hope you guys donate to his foundation at www.dmf.org <object width="533" height="400"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="movie" value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=3882649&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=0&show_portrait=0&color=ff9933&fullscreen=1" /><embed src="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=3882649&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=0&show_portrait=0&color=ff9933&fullscreen=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="533" height="400"></embed></object><br /><a href="http://vimeo.com/3882649">No Layups Episode XX: Dikembe</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/user484766">Chance McClain</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>. Deke is such a great sportsman, he should be a role model to every basketball player. And what surprised me is that he speaks six languages if I'm correct which is pretty impressive. I really liked the video, keep up the good work and people donate, I know I will.
Lol sorry if this seems like a dumb question but when Artest was traded here and he said No Layups was he referring to the talk show or was he actually talking about our defense??
Legend has it he was referring to the show...but the truth is we named it after him when he yelled No Layups at AK-47 http://thestartingfive.wordpress.com/2008/01/28/ron-artest-straight-bangin-in-salt-lake-oh-oh/
Raheel, I was wondering if I could come on your show and I could be there with y'all (on streaming video) and y'all could interview me and stuff, because I have alot of story to tell about my history as a Houston Rockets Fan... ever since I was at the age of 6 yrs old. (I'm now 26 yrs old, gonna be 27 this year.) And then show to y'all my autographed Houston Rockets Autographed Basketball... from their first championship season? Hit me up and let me know if this can be arranged at niketexanguy@yahoo.com . Thanks man. John (The FAR SUPERIOR "John" than John Lance LOL...)
Man that guy is a real human being. Good episode, I just donated on his website.. its only a money for me but I'm sure it means a lot to him and the people its going to. Encourage you guys to do the same!
You have a lot of catching up to do! The complete first season is on Vimeo...or you can wait for the Special Collector's DVD with special behind the scenes footage
