Ron Artest is the reason we've been tough all season. Refs actually respect us and it's a new feeling to me. Yeah Ron jacks up shots and he needs to stop, but I'd take that over Tracy's pouting.

Ron played bad last night but we wouldn't be in the upper half of the standings without him. It's a two edged sword with Ron but overall I'm glad to have him on this team.

How much did we get Ron for? 7 mil? Look at all the players in the league who make his kind of money and put out his kind of output. Marion makes twice his salary and he's been bounced twice in the past two years. I'm not saying Ron is beyond criticism, but let's be honest, he's become a McGrady clone for half the price and twice the defense. I can't complain, in fact, I'm ok with the loss.

If you feel this deserves a thread of it's own, at least provide some thoughtful arguments you'd like to discuss. I'm sure you can find 10 other threads your random thought could be placed.

Well since you're so good at telling us what we all want Artest, you must be smart enough to know we now want you to stop posting this kinda BS. Go away

Think about it this way, which would you rather have right now, Bobby Jackson and Donte Greene, or Ron Artest?

Sure Artest has his faults, and because of them we are very likely to go out of the first round again, but without him we woudn't be in such a good position anyway.

Ron has been blocked 5 times by Utah. that's a shame. Ron was a girl last night.

anyone expecting the Rockets to go into Utah and win that game last night after already going into San Antonio and stealing a game from them is r****ded and is expecting way to much from the Rockets. Yeah it would have been nice to win but that is one of the toughest places to win a game. Placing the blame on Artest for this loss is ridiculous. The entire team played horrible on offense. You can't win games when you keep going down on offense and throwing the ball away.

I am glad we have Artest because we would most likely be out of the playoffs without him.

Absolutely agree. Let's add in the fact that the Jazz had won their previous 12 home games, have the best post-All Star break record in the NBA and the Rox were w/o Landry who is the type of player that can matchup to Boozer and Milsap.

I agree. I'm sure the coaching staff is talking to him about his shot selection, but I would still choose Artest over Tracy "I Was Tired in the 4th Quarter" Mcgrady.

Whats the point of this thread? For some idiots to bash Artest because they are getting mad that intelligent posters are bashing Yao? Yao deserves all the criticism he is getting, he chokes under pressure and doesnt show up for big games, while Artest has been playing injured all season and he has been playing with heart and toughness all year. He is entitled to a bad game here and there.

I didn't see him complaining about Ron in our first victory over the Jazz in 2OT in Houston.

Ron had a terrible night shooting, but it wasnt like he was chucking all night long. He attacked the rim and missed some he usually makes, and got zero fouls called on all those penetrations.
