This is for 1 free admission to the new Studio Movie Grill at Town & Country located at the Beltway and I-10W or the Studio Movie Grill located in Copperfield at Hwy 6 North and West Road. Supposedly this is the "First ever 100% digital in-theater dining experience." The good thing is, you can print out as many as you want and they don't expire until April 30th. i signed up a month ago, you also get free advance screenings also, which is how I got to see "I Love You, Man" 10 days in advance its a great place so far, City Center is still in development, but its going to be rocking once its complete as for the theater itself, it just feels weird that its not a stadium seating theater, but you do sit in comfy office chairs, and the theater isn't as big, which is a plus. Need to make it out on a Sun/Wed/Thurs for their pizza days
Thanks for your feedback Dave, I obviously haven't been there yet. Are you required to spend/order a certain amount? Or can you just go, get a drink and popcorn and watch the moive? Pugs
you don't have to spend anything to get the free movies. The only downfall is that they have a weak beer selection compared to Alamo Draft House and the seats are not comfortable for a 2 hour movie (basically rolling office chairs). My wife and I hadn't been to a movie in months because they are way too expensive, we have seen six movies in two weeks using the coupons and advanced screenings. By the way, we get an advanced screening notice once or twice a week, get there really early to get a wristband they go quick.
There isn't a minimum on what to buy for the screenings, I would assume you would have to order something, one good thing, at least the soda is free refills
I just saw a movie at SMG tonight. It has it upsides. The ambience is nice. I like the semicircle tables more than the just the straight up bar that you get at Alamo. Food's good though a bit pricey. And the alcohol selection is wanting. Also, it feels like it's geared more towards families; there was some noisy children in our theater. If I were to compare it to Alamo, I'd say SMG is a little more high-end while Alamo is for the movie buff. If I had to choose, I'd go to the Drafthouse any day. Seems like you have a bigger food and drink selection, better prices, more of a personal experience, geared more toward adult audiences and who can argue with the vintage clips shown before the feature presentation instead of just corporate advertisements. It's still new so I'm sure they're still working out the kinks, but the service is a little better at Alamo too. We didn't even get a last call during the movie; all the sudden there was the bill.

That place is like The Alamo without the soul. Way too many kids running around, a tad too urban, and the food sux.
Spot on. I think that's exactly how I felt when I was there. A decent theater, but it's more like an AMC with a full service kitchen.
Whats so special about Alamo? Maybe I am thinking of the wrong place but I am pretty sure I have been there at its dirty in comparison the SMG. Is it 21 and up or something? Therefore you like? I don't mind kids, womens looks go downhill after 19ish anyways. Mwuahahahahhahaahhahaha. No but really, you are there to watch a movie right. All that matters to me is service and if the place is clean and SMG nails it.
