Kinda scares me that we had a similar run last year but it obviously doesn't mean a thing in the playoffs. Hell, we even had the #1 Spot in the West for a couple days. I'm currently trying to train myself to not get over hyped for this team until the post season.

16-4 since formally losing T-Mac for the season, not 15-5. And what do they mean that it doesn't compare to the 22 game win streak? That was historic, so of course it doesn't compare. But that win streak started with T-Mac out with flu-like symptoms and included 12 games with Yao before he was lost to a season-ending injury. The real way our current surge doesn't compare with last year is that this year's team has a real chance to compete in the playoffs, which last year's team did not.

I think the injuries to Battier and Rafer caught up with us in the playoffs. If everyone was healthy last year, not including Yao, we would have won against the Jazz.

Hah, after the last few years, I can safely say that isn't a problem for me. Jaded? Nah, I call it not setting myself up for possibly another huge disappointment.

When we get into the second round, I'll be going crazy no matter who we are playing, when, etc. During the first round, I'll be reserved but hopeful.
