Because he always hesitates and looks for a pass first.

Right on! Coach A's system works. He's never had any continuity with the players here in Houston, until Mac finally gave it up for the season. And it takes smart players for it to work. Guys like Yao, Scola, Barry, Hayes, Artest (crazy-smart, but smart), Brooks (smart, but inexperienced), Lowry, and Battier. Guys that can make it work. It's no coincidence that we started to win once we had the same group playing together long enough to "get it."

    I love this team!

Oh what irony there is in the fact that Scola delivered both of those last minute daggers to the Spurs who traded him away :D

Lol I did too. I don't think I've ever screamed that loud! At least he didn't shout off any expletive Yes's.

Haha, I noticed the same thing... I've never heard Clyde like that before. It was pretty awesome to hear, actually. He tries so hard to curb his enthusiasm during games. Drexler is a diehard at heart, heh.

The Rockets really proved me wrong today, I knew the game would be very close, but almost unwinnable. Since, I didn't think we win a close game against the Spurs on the road.

That second pass is amazing, Yao gets about 2mm off the ground, yet he still finds enough time to give it up to Scola. Both Scola and Yao were GREAT!!

Artest has been important to those plays too. He's been picking/sealing/shoving/drilling/kocking out guys that usually rotate or chase battier/scola, so he's a big reason why they have been so open.

I think the problem with him is taking bad shots from the high post...which is what alot of people have problem with.

I don't think it is bad for him to pass from there or give a few fake setups or take an odd shot or two from there.

I think if the wing players are more aggressive going to the basket, like Lowry and Brooks (sometimes) or using the pick and roll it will get Yao open.
