If White pans out, it'll be fun looking forward to a future with him, Brooks, Lowry, Landry, Wafer, and (perhaps) Dorsey developing. The Rox have a bunch of young guys (with talent) again!
James White has much more of a overall game than Novak. You're comparing him to Novak, whos played many NBA games, to White who has only played 4 minutes. Really?
LOL just a tad. I have heard "franchise player" and "T-Mac who?" thrown around in this thread. Let's all take a deep breath.
A post like this is a good place to start giving out these new rep points. Thanks batkins for always posting vids.
not even close. Kevin Martin's starts his shot with the ball at his waist and shoots it below his head. James shot is quick and smoove. He doesn't elevate as high as he could when he shoots, but he's doesn't need to cause he has long arms. He shoots the way coaches prefer there players to to shoot, which is not putting all our legs into every shot unless needed cause you will tire yourself out doing so and you hold on the ball longer. Check Wafer's shots of instances. Von elevates so high on his jumpers and when he does he his release is SO much longer. I notice, on several times, when I seen Von coming off the dribble, pick, or screen he would jump quick and release the ball at the peak of his jump instead of putting all his legs into it. Almost all of those shot when in too!
That jumper kind of looks Kevin Durant's shot. Hopefully we can keep him and maybe he can crack the rotation sometime...
James White also had 1 block shot which was good to see because with his length and athleticism(try saying that 10 times) he should be able to easily grab some rebounds and block shots.
White looked good. He's athletic and can shoot, reminds me of Wafer. I love all these unknown talents the team keeps finding. Wafer's established on this team, though, so White's just insurance against injuries this year. With this team, that might guarantee him some playing time. I think it's more of a tryout for next year. If he sticks because he's a legit player, that'll give Morey some roster flexibility in the offseason.
By being a contributing member...... The reason I brought this thread up was because the youtube video is no longer available. I missed out on watching it because I was in Orlando. Back now, and apparently too late to watch it unless it gets re-upped.
Every time you quote yourself to "edit" one meaningless mistake in your previous post, you get one step further from actually being able to edit.
