It is in excellent condition, basically new, and Vista ready. Less than a few months old. I just kept it XP because I was wary of the Vista upgrade. Great for gaming and normal everyday use. I babied it and there are no scratches or dents. It is 64 bit capable with the Core2 Duo processor. Here are the specs-
    - Genuine Windows XP Media Center (Vista capable)
    - Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor T7200 (2.0 GHz)
    - 17.0" WSXGA+ BrightView Widescreen (1680x1050)
    - 256MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7600
    - HP IMPRINT Finish + Microphone
    - 1.0GB DDR2 SDRAM (2x1012MB)!!
    - 80 GB 5400 RPM SATA Hard Drive
    - LightScribe DVD+/-RW w/Double Layer
    - Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network w/Bluetooth
    - High Capacity 8 Cell Lithium Ion Battery
    - Microsoft(R) Works/Money
If there are any questions just ask me. I am looking for about 1400 obo for it. I paid a little under 2 grand for it. It has an upgraded high capacity battery for extended life. You can check on PC mag...it was their featured pc and it's benchmark scored higher than alienware. It is basically brand new with the original packaging and software. I will throw in a logitec webcam and will cover shipping. Hate to sell it but I'm short on change.

You need to lower the price a bit. I have seen the same model on ebay new and used for prices between $400-$600

Haha! I almost went beserk on the guy until I realized it was an OLD thread :D

That same laptop goes for like $400 or $500 on ebay. Moral of the story? Never pay more than $600 for a laptop, NEVER!
