this guys gonna b good if hes coached rigfht, hes got the size, the work ethic and the determination. the only thing seperating him from being another cato is his desire to succeed, something cato never had. this guy wud b a great guy 4 us 2 take w/ the 15, however, he will prob still b around at 20 if we dint take him so we cud trade our 15 4 a 20 pick and something else what do u guys thinj
I agree with you. I said the exact same thing in a different thread. Everyone told me that they thought we should wait untill the 34th pickc and see if he drops. If he dropped that far he would be a steal. I would take him over Juan Dixon w/ the 34th pick. I still think if we could trade the 15th for a 23 - 28 range pick and get him plus an #1 next year I would be thrilled
The guy's a good natural athlete, in that he runs fast, jumps high, is fairly quick for a guy his size, but he ranks about a 1000 on the spaz-o-meter. He doesn't know what to do with his body. He's, for lack of a better word, flat-out goofy. Horrible basketball sense/intuition--he doesn't have a feel for the game. I don't really think he has improved all that much after 4 years of college ball, but then again, nobody really has under Lavin. Gadzilla is going to take some work to be a good player, but with his natural athelticism, I can see why people are intrigued by him.
