Three games tonight. Currrently, DAL 45 : 56 ATL, half time POL vs CLE 8:00 pm et, TNT GSW vs LAL 10: 30 pm et, TNT BTW, where is that 'blame tracy' guy? I was waiting him to start this thread!
I'm feeling pretty good about the Hawks beating Dallas. Atlanta's been money at home against a lot of Western Conference Contenders lately. Cleveland is 30-1 at home, and I expect them to beat Portland.
The Cavs had a lackadaisical attitude at the beginning of the game and the Blazers finally started hitting a few shots. But there is no way the Blazers win this game. I'll watch the 4th quarter of the Mavs game. During the small amount of the 3rd quarter I've seen, it doesn't seem like either team wants to win.
I think people here are forgetting that we need to be cheering for Dallas to win games and pass up Utah. I want Dallas on our side of the bracket, and Utah to have to play LA in the first round. That would be poetic justice for the cheating bastids.
The Rockets can only hope Jet Terry plays a game like this against them. He was terrible. I've seen him have off games but this was ridiculous. Neither team wanted to win and if Terry weren't so bad the Mavs would have won. A very poor game by both teams. Just like the 1st half of Blazers/Cavs. You can tell the Cavs have no respect for their opponent. This is going to sound crazy, but despite winning 15 of their last 17 games, the Cavs haven't been playing that well. Just good enough to win. Tonight will be another example.
I cheered for the Hawks because I don't want the Rockets to fall into eight ... they aren't that far away ....
The blazers need Oden to play more minutes. He needs to control his fouls. Big Z is dominating the paint!
It seems like they've been doing that quite often recently. I think they're going through the motions waiting for the playoffs. It might hurt them if they have trouble shifting gears come playoff time. Or maybe they have enough experience after the past two seasons and won't have trouble peaking in a few weeks. No one has been good enough to make them pay for it lately.
