http://www.nba.com/rockets/schedule/ Gonna be out of town most likely and its a big game for us obviously but my question is what station is picking this up? Is it possible for abc to add this to their slot? as you can see by the link it doesn't indicate national or local broadcasting. didnt want to make a thread on this but o well. Also an interseting note, SA plays Boston before they play us and we play Minn. If they lose to Boston and we won Against Minn. that would make them 45-23 and us 46-25. If we could pull off a win @ SA (big if) it would look like this SA 45-24 HOU 47-25 There made something out of this thread instead of a broadcasting question.
Still in the dark, not a clue here.I hope they pick this one up in the national broadcasting,at least it's nationally airin'. Oh,I just noticed that San Antonio is gonna take on Boston the day before playing against us,it's gonna be fun to watch what it gon' play out.We ain't that good playing at ATT.In retrospect,we lost to the Spurs last year in SA.
To beat them this time! And in my opinion, SA won't lose to Boston ,for Boston has been struggling recently. So this match counts a lot to us.
boston just need to grind the old legs of these spurs just look at how thunders can run spurs out of the building now
The chemistry of rockets is more and more effective.. so be confident about the coming match plz Go Rockets. Kick their asses!!!!!!
and i hope lowry close the game to defend parker this time. the spurs team consist of 2 men and i think we can take duncan outa of the game with our defense.
Yea man, that 2:30 time is a give away plus it seems like an annual thing now to show the last matchup between us and them on ABC. As confirmed by me and ESPN, http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3522111 Go Rockets!!!
This game is not on ABC: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/schedule It got changed a while ago in favor of the Heat vs. Pistons to give Dwayne Wade more airtime. Pretty dumb. This would have been a much more interesting matchup as two teams fight for their division.
I started a thread a few days ago on this topic, All the questions were answered there... Thanks again. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=164886
Does anyone know if we out of towners will still be able to watch it on League Pass? I know they used to have a blackout rule while games were on ABC.
yeah that's usually the case but I remember something about a blackout rule on sunday for other games if there is a game on ABC on a sunday. Might be mistaken.
Yeah i think there was some total blackout rule from 12 eastern to 5 eastern or something and abc owns that section so any nba games being played during that time frame not on abc cannot be aired until after 5 eastern. i think it caused issue last year with the games vs the magic. honestly seeing the heat vs a strugging pistons teams is stupid just to prop up wade (he already is in the discussion what more does the media want?) the spurs/rockets may be a "boring" matchup but i dont see how they could be more boring than the pistons heat and also you have much much bigger playoff/division implications with the spurs/rockets. shame on abc hopefully the start time gets bumped down
well if they are doing it for wade he is probably not going to play anyway cause he is hurt. So it would be a waste if he doesn't play they should put the rockets back in the slot. Who wants to see a wade less miami and 3 stars missing from detroit.
