One thing you should know about me, I don't make unsubstantiated claims. Unlike some blowhards on this board, I speak fact unless otherwise noted as opinion.

I have a few liberal friends and a few conservative friends. Most of my friends however are fed up with all the crap from both sides. I've historically voted conservative, not that it really matters, as I happen to be a free thinker and have ALWAYS had problems with supporting entire platforms. If that makes me a moderate, so be it. I think I'm more of a grumpy moderate these days. With the dynamics of conservatism changing so much over the past 12-15 years (doesn't that essentially go against the very definition?), I've become disgusted with the current status of the GOP. Bottom line - I see good and bad on both sides and try to support the good, irrespective of mascot.

Here's the link again in case you missed it above.

Im not going to say the Republicans are unpatriotic I think its the fact they still believe in the philosphy of Reganomics. The old trinkle down effect which is dependent on the rich employing the poor with the taxs cuts they receive from the government. Don't confuse the wishing that Oboma fails by media personals like Limbaugh and Hanity with the people who are actually in politics. Me being a moderate libral I don't place what Bill Maher and Jon Stewart as what the Democratic party word of mouth. It's basically they ideas that can rally a party but its not actually the party itself.

if mccain had been elected the same thing would have occurred, except it would be the dems being 'unpatriotic' etc. etc. its not rocket science, just a distraction designed to subdue the masses. classic psych warfare- get two sides bickering about nothing while the real powers take over the country piece by piece.

What else is he going to say? We completely f'ed up? Prior to the collapse, he kept saying the US banking "was fundamentally sound". These guys have been completely wrong in their past assumptions of both the economy and health of the banking sector. What makes you think they are finally going to get it right?

This is a natural correction. Just look at it on the micro level by using Sony as an example. They cut 10,000+ jobs. Why? - because in the past you could go into circuit city and buy a $10,000 LCD without any money down. This is not the case anymore - which IMO is a good thing. As a natural correction, Sony needs to adjust to the market realities by adjusting capacity. Unless real growth (ie: growth by innovation and efficiency and not growth fueled soley by debt) occurs, Sony has no business increasing its production of LCD units like it did in the past.
