    Man can this season get any worse. I am just glad Landry is doing well after and shooting. Get well Carl hope to see you back on the court when you are ready.

    Awful news. And it's practically a sidebar on Chronicle's ROckets page when it should be the main story. Landry is playing well and I hope he has a speedy recovery. They need to find the thugs that did this. Glad he didn't get more injured or killed in this incident.

    Only bright spot about this, from a Bball perspective, is that Deke might get to play more. But I'd rather have Landry not-shot and in the lineup.

    glad carl is relatively ok.. g/l to him in his recovery. and i hope whoever shot him accidentally shot themselves with the other shot.

    doubt it was road rage.. it's just a bunch of low-lifes trying to find "meaning" in their lives by hurting others... thank God Carl is ok..

    Could be MS-13, I heard they like hitting random people from behind with their cars and then shooting them when they get out.

    So, he lives near Leeland. That makes sense. It's a gentrifying area just east of downtown. Close to the Toyota Center so he can get to practice easily. They have some nice apartments there, but still plenty of crime.

    yeah my friends cousin was a victim to the MS-13 bull. but knew what was goin on already.

    Bad area of town he got allegedly shot in. He should consider moving from that spot cause I think he lives near that area.

    It very well could be...

    But I am sure that - hitting random people from behind with their cars and then shooting them when they get out = Drive By or Gang Initiation, which is common amongst all gangs.
