Do we think there will be more Deke now? Before, when Yao went out, Scola went to C, Landry was PF. Now that there is not Landry, will Scola stay as PF and Deke come in as C?

Who'd want to shoot Carl Landry? What is there possibly to gain from that? There is a very strange story.

BREAKING NEWS: drive by vehicle was identified by a witness, making an escape from the scene at a blistering 6 mph. It was a chuck wagon. Plot thickens ...

I've heard about ms-13 gang members hitting your vehicle in a way like that. Then you come out to check the damage and thats when they shoot.

This is really gonna make Carl want to stay in Houston for the rest of his career. I'm so glad he's ok. It could've been much worse. He could be dead.

Very scary news. It's funny how people are more worried about the team not doing well rather than his health. I know it is just a flesh wound, but the most important thing right now is Karl's safety and health.

This comes off as very self righteous. Practically everyone in the thread has expressed concern for Landry's heath, foremost.

Witnesses report seeing the gunman's left leg jerk just before the shot, which explains the injury to Landry's calf.

Like I said in the Iraqi soccer player thread, it's crap like this that really makes me lose faith in humanity. I'm so glad he's ok, and I hope he can be back in no time throwing down those monstrous dunks.

Maybe the shooter was sent by the gambling company.Or two gangs were fighting just at that time?
