    I heard it on 610 AM this morning & I couldn't believe it.

    I'm just really glad he is okay, that's the important thing.

    Segment on SportCenter now:

    -Saying possible drive-by or robbery.
    -Fran Blinsucky is saying they just know what is in police report and a few statements from Rockets.
    -Went home then went to get something to eat.
    -Was side-swiped, got out to inspect damage. Vehicle came back and fired 2 shots - 2nd shot hit leg.
    -Treated at Memorial Hermann and released.
    -Out 1-2 weeks, maybe a month. Flesh wound, not tendon/bone damage.

    God really? this is terrible I am glad that Carl was not seriously hurt and will be back in a few weeks.

    Man looks like Deke and Hayes will get more run now and maybe even James White if the rotation goes small.

    1-2 weeks after being shot aint too bad... Landry and the Rockets got lucky, and usually luck isnt on our side when it comes to health!

    Come on now guys. What male in his 20's has not been out on the town at 4 am at one point...going or coming from somewhere? It's not like we have a game tomorrow.

    I'm just happy he is ok. Some things are more important than basketball games ya know....

    woops my bad. but 1-2 weeks usually means 3-5 weeks in houston medical terms. i'm just glad landry is safe. thats insane.

    I really doubt this was random. Things like this happens to pro athletes unfortunately, they are targets. It isn't that difficult to find out info about anybody, including celebrities. The hardest part for him probably will be getting over the mental part of being shot at.

    i think they just saw a guy in a nice car and tried to start something. they most likely didnt know it was carl landry they were shooting at.
