Jaguareyes. We couldn't be anything more than friends, but if you want to hang out when you get here we could find something fun to do. We are fellow Rocket fans, I think. So if you want to hang and shoot the breeze just fire off an email to me before you get here. You seem like fun. Mack. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that doesn't ever happen to me. Yikes! There is one girl that hasn't sent me her picture yet and that makes me nervous, but her emails have been so cool I've been glad to correspond with her. We kinda click, but a photo would be nice.
Sure, I love meeting new people. Plus, I don't know that much about the Rockets, or Basketball (thats why I like this site, I get to read all about the Rockets and learn about the sport) so maybe you could tell me all about it. One of my friends got me started watching the Playoffs a few weeks ago, and now I'm totally hooked. I just can't wait to go to a Rockets game next season. Oh, and on the picture subject...don't be too worried. The guy I dated for 9 months took over 3 months of chatting before he sent me a picture. Even when he did send one, it was a 4 year old picture of when he was still in High School, but he turned out to be attractive. Getting to know his personality before I ever saw him made our relationship so much more meaningful, and not so superficial.
Speaking of online dating, an article our favorite bastion of liberalism, Salon.com, on the subject: http://www.salon.com/mwt/feature/2002/05/15/online_dating/index.html
From what I understand Playboy pays more the more you take off. I've seen other college issues where gals kept their sweaters, bras or tops on. Other topless with the bottom covered and then the women who bare it all. I will ask what others are afraid to: DID YOU BARE ALL ??? How much do they pay, if you don't mind me asking? (Although I guess it's too late for that.) os
Did you make the cut? A friend of mine(ok really just a girl I once dated in high school) routinely does photo shoots for the magazine. What did you think of the experience? Would you do it again?
Wow, lots of questions... No I did not bare all, and you get paid less the less clothing you take off. One of the girls talked me into one topless shot, but for the most part, I was just in some lingere. Which leads me to the answer of another question... Did I make the cut? I don't know, I thought I had, bescaue I interviewed, and then they asked me to come back in for the actual shoot. But, I was talking to a girl I met @ the shoot last night, and she has posed before. She talked to one of the guys, and said that they decided to not have as many slots for A&M as they thought they did, so now I'm not so sure I will be in it. Especially since I was one of the more modest of the models. Thus again, bringing me to the answer of another question... The experience was interesting, something I probablly wont do again, and it wont bother me if I don't end up in this issue. I struggled with the idea of doing it to begin with. And since I have done it, I have thought, "what if respectable people I know look @ this magazine (not that they can really condem me if they themselves look @ it) and they lose respect for me" Anyway, the actual experince was quite a new one for me. Good in ways, and bad in others.
Hehe, I am working. I do live a normal life outside of my exhibishionist moments. Although, I am planning on making a vacation out of Houston later on this summer..... Hehe.
Did you get to go to the Playboy mansion, meet some famous people, and hang out in the forbidden hot tub area ? Or at least meet Heff? I thought Heff made sweet love to all his models? Maybe maybe no.
Having trouble getting dates Hoop-T? Jaguar, although you said you probably wouldn't do it again, have you ever thought about making a career of it if you do make the issue? I'm curious because a girl I went out with a couple times back in high school does photo shoots for Playboy from time to time and she seems to really enjoy the work and the play that comes along with it, not to mention the money I am sure. It's even led to her getting a start in acting. She even has her own web site.
