Yeah Barry's role is to rot on the bench. I really don't see him being used much. not because he's bad or anything but because there's not much opportunity given.
White and Dorsey are too raw, but I agree with Barry and Mutombo. We signed the old man just to waste him away on the bench. It's kind of sad.
Roger Mason is a decent 3 point shooter when he's with the Wizards.I heard him before he was traded to the Spurs and he did really impress me at the Xmas' night. George Hill?I don't know where this man pops up from,just no clue.Maybe I'm not knowledgeable of the players around the NBA and NBDL.
Why play Barry? Because he can shoot the 3? We have Shane for that...he's like 4 for 30 in the last 4 games behind the line. Sarcasm over.
Please, Brent Barry get's torched on D as soon as he enters the game. I understand he's like 37 but plays D like he's 47. Check out his plus/minus numbers, horrible.
I agree. I think coach is trying to get Ab/Lowry some experience. But Barry is going to be a key contributor come playoff time.
we should probably be running the offense through barry. and dorsey and white and deke. i'm sick of rooting for a team that doesn't play it's 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th men. everyone else uses a 15 man rotation and they're all about to finish 82-0. fire the coach and trade all of the players. I couldnt agree more. I just dont understand why he is not playing with the guys who can create their own shot. Barry's value is at its highest when you have players who create and draw defenders to them. It is at its lowest when the other 4 players on the court also like to stand around the 3pt line.
You guys and Barry!! What has the dude done since being on the Rockets? He sucks. Don't give me that stuff "wait till the playoffs" or "he'll bring playoff experience" - BULL. He hasn't done squat and by the way he can't hit 3's anymore. He's just wasting a roster spot if you ask me. I hope he never gets off the bench. I cringe when he comes in because 1. he can't defend 2. he makes stupid turnovers and 3. He's shot is gone. For Christ sakes forget about Barry!1

All he is supposed to do is mentor the young kids, move the ball , and make threes. So far he hasn't been making threes.
