wow that's a lot of championships in over a half century. we should follow the path of these guys instead of how other 99999999... championships were won.
That was my whole point, most of those teams were pretty average, during the season and picked by most to be one and done teams. Alot of those teams didn't have superstar players on them. You don't always need superstars your team to win or having the best record. How many teams in this decade have one Super Bowls, while having the best record in the league at the same time? Are you new to sports?
I completely agree.... Well, a healthy T-Mac could have potentially been that guy....but the sad thing is that he could never stay healthy. Ron Artest is definitely not a closer. I saw his act vs. Kobe...not good.
No matter how much we might hate TMac sometimes, his playoff numbers do not lie. After some recent loses, I really do not trust Brooks or Artest to take the last shot.
The team is learning through loses and will be better in the playoffs, with at least one day of rest. What I like about us: * Our defense * A go to big man, that can hit free throws * An above average bench (Lowry, Landry, and Wafer) What I don't like * Our running/assist game * Inability of our offensive players (Shane and Chuck) * Late Q4 execution * In game coaching decisions
I just thought of something that I don't think anyone else has mentioned. This team is missing a closer. Anyone agree? Seriously, this team has not had a closer since Dream. They are to find, usually expensive and usually stay with one team. Simply put, they don't grow on trees and all but 3-4 teams in the league wish they had a closer too.
Yes but the Clutchfans ran him out of houston with picket signs named "T-Lazy" "T-Lady" "Me-Mac" "T-Leg"... am I forgetting any?
