We all know dude can only go right and if you force him back left, he will pump fake and fade away for yep you guessed it a miss. We watch him bang into the defender about 4 times before getting off a shot and teams are not doubling him in the post.

Then he get's a free shot at the free throw line and pumps fake a defender 2 feet away from him, and then tries to lean into the defender a foot away and almost falls on his face and shoots with this body twisted sideways and starts a fastbreak for the other team.

We need Landry to start with Yao, with Scola and Yao together, we have the slowest front court in NBA history if we throw in Teflon Don my career is done Battier.

Everyone keeps on underestimating the craftiness of Scola.

Scola has a tendency to pump fake all the time (the exact opposite of Landry who just flushes it). I think that in the Utah series last year for the first couple of games all of his pump faking only juked him out. Whenever Scola is one-on-one, I notice he never goes straight up. Certain easy shots he turns them into twisted, weird-angle attempts. Fortunately, he is a good finisher.

every time we lose we should just go ahead and trade the whole team and fire the coach. i'm sick of rooting for a team that thinks it can just lose games. go 82-0 or go home baby.

    Scola is perfect; STFU

He is the king of layup; noone in the NBA is better at lay ups.

shut up Mr. BackNthDay. Scola is our best player, better than Yao and Artest. Scola should shoot more.

Scola is doing just fine. He will be money come the playoffs. This guy has proven himself in past tournaments and that has prepare Luis to excel in playoff type games. Last year was his first taste of NBA playoff basketball this year he will be much better.

Absolutely! The guards should pass to the front court either to Scolar or Yao.

What's up with all these random hating threads? Don't we already have like a million of these? Now it's Scola, our most consistent player...

Yeah, NBA figured Scola out, just the Rockets team hasn't. He was 6-6 in first half against Lakers, but he only got 3 shots in second half. Not the defense figured him out and lowered his FG%, but the team didn't give him any shot.

Yeah, the NBA figured him out, that´s why he is shooting at 53% rate.

Okay, I see u females are just as sensitive about Scola as you are about Yao. Chill and take a estrogen and starbucks latte to cool your sensitive feelings.

I like Luis, but I feel it is a relevant question. Luis does have problems with crafty defenders like Kurt Thomas, physically big PF's like Boozer and of course athletic tall PF's like KG.
He will never become athletic or jump higher and isn't in the same class as Boozer or KG/Amare,however he is a good player who works hard and has been trying to get better and will keep on working to overcome his limitations as best as he can with his smarts and skill. Landry is a good foil for him.
