    3/16/09 Game Thread

San Antonio @ Oklahoma City -- San Antonio is going to beat OKC lets face it.. but OKC still might have a chance to upset because they are at home.. GO THUNDER!!!

Portland @ Memphis -- I don't think Memphis can beat Portland, but Portland is coming off of a loss, so maybe they will lose another.. Go Grizzlies!

New Jersey @ Denver -- This one could be close, I mean NJ has the fire power to stay with Denver, but I don't see NJ winning this.. Go Nets anyway!

If we can get one of these going our way for this day.. it would great to see, most of these don't look favorable for us. Plus, we have a big game too.. against the Hornets that we need to win.

New Jersey has a shot, but not a big one. Memphis has a good chance, since it's not in Portland.

It's unlikely any of the West playoff contenders will lose though.

This might be a little off topic, but Russell Westbrook is a turnover machine. He had 17 TO this week in 3 games which absolutely killed my fantasy team.

Devin Harris hurt himself pretty badly, so he's probably going to be a no-show for awhile.

If Devin Harris doesn't play, the Nuggets will easily roll the NJ. Tonight's heartbreaking loss to the Clippers might weigh heavily on the Nets' minds. That was a killer.

Spurs will obviously beat OKC. Bet the farm on that one.

If the Blazers don't show up, they can lose to any team on the road. But after getting clobbered by the Hawks, I imagine they will bounce back.

It's almost a must win game for the Rockets against the Hornets since it's more than likely that San Antonio, Portland, and Denver are going to win theirs.

NJ Nets will play the 2nd game of the back-to-back on road. No way Nets could beat Nuggets on road.

Spurs lose to OKC. That's why you play the games.

the spurs loss is almost meaningless. we are still 3 losses behind them. 1.5GB looks nice, but we can't take back the 3 games we lost. 3 games that they haven't played yet.

they will still take the second seed (unless they keep playing like they did tonight).

the BIG game of the night was the rockets shutting down the hornets!!! a loss would've put them ahead of us. as it stands, we hold on to #3 for one more day.

    Lol at the Spurs.

Had a chance to get more separation and now we still have a chance at 2nd seed.

If the Spurs lose the back to back tomorrow and against the Celtics the next game, we will be right there with the Spurs.

We play them once more though and the three games they haven't played that are just that...three games they haven't played.

Garnett might return for the Spurs game on Friday and if he does, you know the Cs will be pumped up for that one especially KG. KG and TD have a little rivalry that's been going on, so I'm expecting KG to be back that game and it's going to be tough for the Spurs...

We just gotta keep winning of course.
