In the Spurs game we had a shot to win in large part because at the end of the game, Brooks was eating Parker for lunch. Brooks kept us in the game.

Hmm a wide open Yao or Ron or a contested shot from a 5'7 midget...tough choice

I do not know that Lowry has a 2nd job in Datona.

Come on, you have to be blind to miss all the good passes and mid-range jumpers he made. On the other hand, what else does AB do besides shooting 3s and drive?

He can also pass, but it's easy to forget that with his 0 assists tonight.

BTW, Kyle Lowry had a game in his second season with 34 minutes and 0 assists. Hell, he had a game with 46 minutes and 1 assist.

Aaron Brooks is not a team player because he doesn't create for anyone else and is a chucker. His field goal percentage is atrocious and he doesn't know what a "pass" is or how to make one. Also, the fact that you qualify him as a "team player" because he's part of "OUR TEAM" is meaningless and utterly asinine because it applies to literally everyone in the NBA and their respective "TEAMS". This entire thread is an EPIC FAIL.

Players of those lottery teams only care about their stats. Also I watched the game you mentioned(34min,0ast), Grizzlies was slaughtered by Pistons and the whole team only got 67 points. Their starting PG was Mike Miller and Kyle Lowry came off the bench with 34mins in garbage time. I don't know which game he had with 46 minutes but he played in SG role in some games.

Every team in the NBA hopes he stays our PG.

They Think: Oh no not Yao and the Rockets.....at least there PG is short.

Atleast Aaron Brooks has guts. He has taken or attempted the crucial shot a couple of times , when you take that important shot at the end of the game you will get burned if you miss and glorified if you make it. ( like that crucial drive against Shaq and the suns, and a crucial three point shot on the pick and roll in one game.)

He was responsible for us winning before , now it just wasn't his day. He has shown flashes of brilliance, but he just needs to be more consistent. Consistency will only come with more exposure, which is why I think Adelman is giving him more playing time, he has the potential.

You still have to be smart enough to know when have "GUTS".....otherwise you can get killed when it matters most.

I am glad to have Aaron Brooks as our THIRD STRING point guard. Good to have him as insurance rather than some guy who makes you fear impending doom when he enters the game.

    Appreciations to AB!

This only serves to show me how bad we used to have it with Rafer. Couldn't shoot, did play decent D, but overall was part of that supporting cast around Yao and Tracy that just wasn't good enough. It seems like every PG we get (except Lowry!) will always have one or another part of their game as a deficiency, and we'll be griping about it the entire way. I'll take it if it means we have Harden/Howard too.

glad to see CH has something to do when he isn't chronically masturbating. Brooks sucked tonight. If he doesn't have the balls to push the tempo and take shots, he shouldn't be getting PT.
