Furthmore,i found RA always do like it, such as vs Sun. it is dangerous. no rebound, no second attack.

Except the fact that Ginobili will be returning this season, whereas Tmac won't be. We're not comparing the teams next year. We're just saying that if these two teams meet in the playoffs, Spurs have it in the bag.

Usually I feel sick after a loss, but I'm actually pretty optimistic after this one. That lucky ass 3 at the end of the half ended up winning the game for the Spurs, that combined with our f-ups at the end of the half. Our guys were down and they never gave up, fought their way back in and were right there at the last second.

I really wish they would pull out these closer games against the good teams, but I still feel like we're still making strides.

    Keep the faith.

Also we are STILL IN 3rd!

We should be happy about that.

We tried to close out, I think the better team just closed out better really.

It's not like in the last seconds we made big mistakes (see Utah @ Miami) we just didn't make the shots. Yeah Aaron didn't take the best of shots, it was a nice idea of him to drive the lane, he should have floated it though but he got under the basket and just mis-judged.

Other than that Brooks had a good game, he put us in the game and it's really Adelman's fault for not realizing that we tore the Spurs up playing fast-paced ball.

Should have had Wafer and Brooks in the 4th qtr and told Brooks to continue to attack, Spurs did nothing to stop him...

We should all see this Rockets team as overachieving. I wasnt happy they lost, but not as upset as most people. They just need to keep playing hard, learn from the losses, and try to keep the highest seed possible and anything can happen in playoffs.

I guess thats true but at least rockets fought hard and kept the game close. Ovarall its a good game and rockets can learn from watching a flim of this game to see what mistakes they made.

Actually no, i think that's what it looked like in regular motion. I've checked the play a few times and Tony never got close to AB after the inbounds. Brooks inbounded to Yao, who passed it back and picked off Tony, tony tried to go the long way under the pick and around yao, but saw Udoka and TD were on Brooks already so he just stopped and watched.

I think the play was for Yao to go to the ball, like it happened, but Artest went himself "just incase", the problem was he went right away before Yao even had a chance, so then you have Yao's man AND ron's man in the same area. Then, after Brooks got the ball, Ron made the mistake of cutting back behind Brooks instead of cutting away from him and making his man follow him, so udoka was there to double Brooks along with TD.

Brooks should have never been shooting anyway with Yao picking. Td is too good on those plays, especially when an undersized point is the one shooting.

Yeah...I really don't know what we are doing during timeouts.

We called timeout three times for our clutch plays and they all resulted in broken plays.

Think about it...the Aaron Brooks failed lay-up.
    Ron's missed three.
    Aarons desperation three.

All for naught...not one of them worked...if one of them worked well then we probably win this game...

You know what...Adelman has always lost close games...you know those Lakers-King series...yeah....

    Yeh, we should miss T_Mac.
Anyway, Tracy can make open shoot for the other players ,
the most important thing is that Tracy can pass the ball!

a close and hard fought game. we certainly had our chances. really not too many complaints from me, except -

aaron having 0 assist is embrassing, but at least he scored a bunch and kinda brought the game back.

ron has been playing horribly for the last few games. his foul on parker right before the buzzer in the first half was such a terrible foul, i'd say it's even worse than yao ming's 6th foul in denver. this can almost be thought as the reason we lost in the aftermath, since we didn't have any control on finley's lucky 3 at the end of the 3rd period.

and i still don't understand why adelman called a yao-aaron pick and roll with aaron going in and challenging duncan. for god's sake there were 28 seconds left. i know in the suns game it worked, but this is a totally different situation.

our horrible 2nd quarter, some missed free throws, and little contribution from battier and the bench on offense all came back and haunted us.

I'm not panicked. We played well enough to win this game. It was a fluke that Finley made that half court 3 point shot. The Spurs are NOT better than us in a 7 game series. What if one of our half court heaves went in? We would have won the game. This game was too close to say that we cannot win a playoff series against the Spurs.

Tough loss. I really would have been nice to pull this one out but we didn't.
