Brooks really doesn't deserve the hate he is getting , every mistake he makes I see put Lowry in posts. It's a toss up who is the better player between the 2 , they are better in different areas. Brooks did enough to earn the starting spot and he is doing enough to keep it. I like Lowry a lot too and a lot of the hate Brooks is getting is only because people want Lowry to start. Please bash Brooks only when he deserves it , he has been big for us this year.
That's the BBS for you they bash every player on the roster, see first it was trade Alston and start Brooks and now it Start Lowry, shows how shallow these fans are
He is doing good so far this game. Parker is just a damn good player and the best finisher guard maybe , he is hard to stop and Aaron is giving a good effort on defense.

Brooks can do incredible things. But then turn around and do the dumbest things. I think people just give him a hard time because he's the one misfit on the starting lineup; everyone else is slowdown, half-court, he's taking shots with 20 ticks left on the shot clock...it just doesn't work. Plus when he's in the game, either he's always calling for Yao to set the pick or Yao just does it voluntarily, either way, that pick and roll really doesn't work because Brooks just never passes out of that.
He's not doing good so far. No assist, offense becomes stagnant when he's on the court. Yao touched the ball once since he's back to the court.
You know what. Lowry is the player make the other player score easily .Brooks is the player who is good at scoring. Lowry should be the starter. AB should contribute his score from the bench
i don't hate him. he's simply not good enough, especailly as a PG. he's been asked to deliver more than he's capable of.
I dont think most people here are necessarly hating, just saying the team would be better off with him coming off the bench. I agree. But I like him, and want to keep him as a Rocket, just a bench player (for now).
dude, criticisms aren't hate. nobody is calling brooks name like they do with mcgrady. brooks just isn't do the things he hsould be doing (that he did well when he was playing off the bench). now we know at best he's a bench player.
With a better start PG. Yao .Scola and Ron will contribute more scores.Bench AB.Start Lowry. Don 't say it is only one game. we have lost Bulls ,JAZZ.LAKERS and Spurs.In playoff we only have 7 games at most. Don't mention we will rest of teams. becuase we won't get the chance to meet them in Playoff
I still believe in this team. People forget that we had a back to back as well I know we can beat SA... feed Yao the ball, and get Ron ass in the post..... in the entire game
yeah, he hit big shots, and you think he is great. so what? the point is he is shooting more than YAO, our best player on the team and 1st scorer, at a lousy 40.3%...i can deal with that if he is a back up PG and plays 20min a game. it's not that who is better between the two, it's he is still a double-blade, he can help us some times but he kills us sometimes too. In the playoffs, he is going to cost us a series because of his defense and bad play-making ability.
