okay first off Yao must rebound on both ends secondly, Artest has to stop trying to win the game by himself - on his last offensive rebound BOTH brooks and scola were open, but artest went 1-1 and didn't get anywhere carl landry is just having an off game tonight as well as chuck hayes and of course the team has to make its free throws
He can't rebound offensively, but he was never really taught that until last year when Adelman gave him the freedom to rebound on the offensive side. He's doing a great job rebounding defensively though.
JVG would be better with this current lineup because he would actually take timeouts and call out plays rather than let this bunch of idiots try to run a "read and react" offense.
This summer, iwant brooks to be a knock down mid range guy. I want him off the spot up 3pt business and use his speed and quickness to get to 17 ft and become lethal. I hate how the rox try to make everyone 3pt shooters.
Yao got fouled almost everytime he went for an offensive rebounds. There were pushes on his back. Refs never blew the whistle.
he is moving. but it's not actually accomplishing anything. that's why i don't see why it's such a big deal he does this. yeah his man follows him but it's just instead of doubling and shane having an open 3 or sticking on shane at the 3 point line. the dives almost never get him a layup or get anyone else an open shot. the layup he missed was just on a cut from the baseline (which actually is a good move). diving through the lane, though, doesn't seem to accomplish much in our offense.
Finley has been shooting the ball well. Over 50% for the month. And he was on fire against the Lakers.
As much as Tracy was a detrement to the team, he always made sure Yao was in a great position to get his shots.
i think they ran one post up play for yao those last five minutes. instead pick and role with brooks who drives gets caught in the air and throw a last gasp pass to yao which we all know he cant catch.
Yao's defense has been terrific,otherwise we would be in greater trouble. The Spurs have completely taken Scola out of the game. Gotta regroup or we will be out very quickly.
