Lowry had the right idea but that pass wasn't a good one. Having Gooden is gonna help the Spurs too. We aren't playing well.
I hate when Yao isn't expecting passes like that. I mean, what is he thinking, Lowry's gonna try a layup from under the backboard?
CMON YAO!! This is a conditioning issue. Yao is too tired to catch that easy pass and finish with the monster jam at the end of the quarter. I know what Adelman is trying to do. Stretch Yao's minutes out for the playoffs. He knows that Yao needs to play 36-37 minutes per game in the playoffs so he's starting to give Yao more and more minutes. However, having played 37 minutes last night, Yao is simply gassed now. Not a good sign for the rest of the game.
I don't think Yao realizes that he has somebody else that can pass it to him in the paint now that T-mac is gone.
Is it against NBA rules to allow players to wear gloves? Yao could use some of those gloves wide receivers use in the NFL.
and then tony parker blows right past you for an uncontested layup. if you back up at least he might slow up long enough (not likely) for others to catch up. there's a reason parker scores so much in transition and going to the basket.
It is the prime time Parker-Duncan P&R. How are you going to stop that if he hits that pull-up jumper?
