I love Scola, but he's better than Jamison or Aldridge? Please.

I have a hard time ranking Duncan as a PF but i'll do it anyway just for the sake of argument.

    When healthy....

    1) Duncan
    2) Dirk
    3) Gasol (another guy I feel weird labeling a PF)
    4) KG
    5) Amare
    6) Bosh
    7) Boozer
    8) West
    9) Brand
    10) Jamison

Honorable Mention: Josh Smith, Aldridge, Scola, Lee, Murphy

He also went 23-59, 28-54. 22-60, 10-29, and 0-12 in the playoffs before joining the Lakers.

And his only All-Star game? He was chosen as a reserve Center not PF.

Are you seriously saying that Dirk had no supporting cast?

Josh Howard may have not been on the all-star team but many people felt he should have been. Terry and Howard has always played pretty good in the playoffs.

Wow, the top two double-double players at PF are David Lee (53) and Troy Murphy (41). Both are American born white guys. Who says white men can't jump?! :p

They are no all-stars, but being able to lead your team to the Finals and coming from the Western Conference is something to be happy about. Although, I am sure Dirk would love to have that ring. He also had that MVP trophy too in 2007.

    lol @ Scola in everyone's top 10.

you won't find too many people outside of houston that would put scola ahead of lamarcus aldridge.

    1. Duncan
    2. Garnett
    3. Nowitzki
    4. Gasol
    5. Jamison
    6. Brand
    7. Stoudamire
    8. Bosh
    9. Boozer
    10. West

I'm very reluctant with Gasol, but he has proved me wrong a lot.

Put me in the, "Amare is not that good without Nash," category. Honestly, I think Bosh is not a franchise player.

Jamison and Brand are very underrated. Brand hasn't been healthy though, so I could see why someone would not put him in their top 10.

Duncan, Garnett, and Dirk are in their own elite level. Everyone else is a notch below.

And Scola in top 10? Come on... Once Scola gets doubled team consistently, then we can talk. I swear... Scola does not know how to kick out of a double team. I don't think I've seen an assist by Scola where he just kicked it out to a shooter.

Yes, Gasol is totally overrated. He's like Webber, talented, good stats, but not transfer to team success. Spanish national team won WC with him even though he's their stats stud. That's how Gasol is. When he's there, he pad his stats. When he's not there, they played all right. they don't miss him at all.
    My list,

    1. Duncan
    2. Nowitzki
    3.Garnett
    4. Brand
    5.Boozer
6.Stoudamire (because his injure history, if he keeps his best year, he should be #3)
    7. Jamison (underrated player)
    8. Bosh (soft soft player)
    9. West (not very talented)
    10. David lee (more potential) and Gasol (another soft player)

Haslem is a very underated role player. I think he's in the same level of Shane battier.

amare is extremely unerrated imo. KG has always lacked the ability to take over games and that is why he is overrated imo. He put up big numbers on terrible teams for years, he is succeeding now because he's got Pierce and Allen to carry the load for them.

How is Amare underrated? He is a player who cares more about getting touches and scoring the ball than he does about winning. The Suns were 2nd seed and Amare decides to complain about not getting enough touches.

Amare doesn't rebound nor does he play defense. He is one of the most overrated players in the league, He isn't a system of Steve Nash, but he sure is overrated.

Pippin's name should never be mentioned by a Rockets fan.

I watch quite a bit of Knicks games. Lee has more offensive game than you think. He has quite a few moves in the post and has a decent 15 fter too. But he is playing the center for them. In my books he is about the same level as Scola.

LA is good offensively, but he is a pretty poor rebounder.

7.2 boards a game is not that bad, and he's just 23 years old. I've been watching him since his days at Texas. He is extremely jumpshot happy, but if he makes them, he'd be a total beast in our offense. Can't teach that size and length either. We haven't even seen close to the best of LA's potential. What we're seeing in Scola right now is a finished product.

nice to see him in the top 10, sounds reasonable, but yeah maybe there are more talented players but they don't bring it like luis does night in night out. maybe i'm just being biased but he deserves that spot.

While I agree that Dirk is underrated at times on this board, I don't agree with him not having a good supporting cast.

In 2005, when we contained Dirk, who do you think it was that got that team over us?

That would be Mr. Jason Terry. He is a pretty good player, but he is no all-star. Glorified role player might be a good word to call him.
