Wow I just went through a similar situation, except it wasn't as bad as yours. Seems like you already had one foot in the door in terms of emotional investment given that you had her regularly come to your home, met the parents, etc. I just had my big toe in .

My situation as follows: I dated this chick for about a month, and she was saying all the things your girl was saying ("i think about you everyday, i can see us being serious" etc.). One day, she decides to change her mind about me and breaks it off over the phone (does not break up in person either), citing that she doesnt feel like we're really in love and some other bull****. This was two days after we had a great night out.

Seriously, what the **** is wrong with some chicks? Absolutely inconsiderate, selfish, and too spineless to break up in person. Like some posters have already mentioned, just go 'okay' and then straight up ignore them - just disappear from their miserable lives - and they'll go bat**** that you're not falling for their drama w**** antics.

Anyways, I really sympathize with your situation man. Resist the urge to contact her and move on. And if she contacts you, take the opportunity to b**** out at her. In the long term, you'll be glad things ended before they got too serious.

Here is my two cents..
Now this is speaking on my experiences (i am only 23 BTW so take it how you want)

Women like to be treated bad.
--don't know why but they do. The nice guy works at the beginning but it seems they get bored and need that drama aspect in their life

Women will move on to whats bigger and better for them
--A relationship cant survive on love alone. There is always someone who's better than you, has more money or is just a new face to look at.

Women Lie
--so do guys but we do it more on smaller issues as oppose to women who lie about major issues. Because of my exp. i cant trust ANY Female...sad but true. Once you get Done wrong you open your eyes and your not so blinded and naive.

Last thing is i hope when i get older that this changes. Hopefully its a young thing but as of now its hard to trust these girls out here. Also its another guy is my guess also. The affection comment is why i say this. Trust that

God another story,one of my friends split up with his ex gf 3 weeks ago,and he didn't do anything wrong.I just don't quite get the picture of so called soul searching,it's totes crap I bet.And maybe she just got another guy to hang out with if you excuse me.

I agree with what you said, I dont think women intentionally want to be treated bad, but women love drama, so even though your a good looking guy and your nice to them at the beginning, if you don't give them reasons to have drama, the relationship will get boring and the more i think of it, i guess the more this could be the case, i was so perfect to her, I didn't go out at night at the clubs, i didn't meet up other chicks and claim them to be only friends, had I done that and gave her reasons to question weather i was being faithful, it would stir up drama, and for some reason, negative drama always seems to result in a woman feeling more in love with you...that the only explanation bc during the beginning when i told her i didn't want to be with her, there was a whole month and a half time period of when i was a complete ass to her, she would call me 3-4 times everyday during the weekend and i wouldn't return her call, when she did get a hold of me i was cold and non-responsive, i just let her talk and then got off the phone when she was done. I acted that way and it drove her crazy that she wrote me long emails about how she missed me so much and all she wants in life is to have me back etc. etc.....mid november as you know i gave her a chance and became the good guy i should have been....and this is the result.....it really stinks man...it proves, you have to be an ass to have women interested in you, they feed off of drama.

It's always another dude...she was in it for the Chase, much of what keeps me and most of us going...The chase makes it interesting...now that she had you, eh no challenge...

And I agree with what most of NateNate's two cents...In my experience, if you don't call a girl, don't pay any attention to them or treat them like crap, they'll come after you...if you treat them nice, they think they can get away with anything and thus no challenge...funny how that works...

I agree...as was already mentioned in this thread (I think by ima)...the dumb, stupid, immature girls like being treated bad, however, the ones that have something in between their ears want to be treated like princesses.
