[Entertainment] Radiohead snubs Miley Cyrus and Kanye West

LMAO, they're full of themselves (not saying they aren't) but apparently, Radiohead are not douchebags for not wanting to meet them? All three are acting lame here in my opinion. Grown ass folks acting like high school kids.

 

Its funny how tinman calls Yorke a prick. Kanye seems like one of the biggest douches on this planet. What was his dumb ass remark about ifhe were alive in the time of Jesus he would be in the bible? How? Would Jesus say it was sinful to be a douche on the level of him?

As for Miley, who cares? She's a kids performer and sounds like she didn't even go for herself to meet them. She sent her agent.

Radiohead is awesome.

 

They are full of themselves for acting like Radiohead should respect them as "superstars" and make time to hang out with them.

Radiohead is a British band, they are going to do whatever they can to be assholes.

 

I think it was from a mixtape but i think they intended to make an album at some point...and there's a video. So, that's pretty big.

Honestly, I think as a celebrity/artist you should WANT to meet your fans, especially those that are in your same profession. It's like if Joey Dorsey wants to go meet Kobe and he tells him to piss off. They aren't normal fans, they're artists that look up to him.

Kanye is an ass but he clearly looks up to Yorke and they were at the GRAMMY's it's not like he tried to bother him while he was at the movies with his kids.

 

radiohead is overrated imo, but whatever. they could of just shook their hands or something, that's not cool.

 

The lesson here is that celebrities are insecure, pompous people who can do nothing right.

 

Miley doesn't even write her own songs, it's very possible that she doesn't even like her own music but only performs it for little girls and to get paid and be famous.

Anyways, do the Jonas Brothers write their own songs too? I would find that hard to believe, that one guy (Nick) can't even sing.

 

Quite the opposite. There are tons of stories of people going to U2s studio in Dublin to meet the guys for just an autograph and pictures. I remember on some message board a girl telling a story about how Bono gave her and her friends a lift back to their hotel.

 

I bet he did. If you catch my drift. Heh heh.

 

Oasis is probably my favorite band, but. . . Radiohead is something else. I am not sure they're comparable, but Radiohead is always innovating, Oasis -- not so much. That being said, the Gallagher brothers can get away with being asses more so than Thom Yorke can. I like Oasis better, anyways.

 

I respect Radiohead even more now.

The only thing that would be cooler is if Nickelback wanted to meet Zeppelin and Jimmy Page smashed them all in the face with his guitar.

Actually she does write some of them. Why are you guys being such haters. She 15 years old an appeals to little kids. There is nothing wrong with that. She also has more money than Radiohead and Oasis put together.

I love Radiohead and I can care less the way they act towards other entertainers. If they keep on making good music, thats all that matters to me. If Thom didnt want to meet Miley Cyrus, who gives a sh..?

Do you really believe she writes her own music? I'd say she has little control over any artistic decisions in her career. This usually changes overtime. ie. Spears, Aguilaera, etc.

 

I don't get it. All three (Cyrus, West, and Radiohead) come off as being egotistical. I love Radiohead (and yes RH>>>>>Oasis, only because they don't play your favorite songs at the concert you attended, doesn't mean that their body of work diminishes), but those guys are full of themselves.

 

Radiohead isn't very good live. I suggest all the introverts.. I mean radiohead fans, stay at home and listen to their cds while being happy feeling sorrow for themselves.

I hope if Thom York is walking around nashville, that Miley in her SUV re-enacts the the Karma police video with that prick running on the road.
