Bottom line is no one else outside of him stepped up. Not Yao, Battier, J Howard, Rafer, no one else. T-mac scored forty last year in game six. Where was everybody else.

Hakeem, Bird and Kobe come to mind. You know....SUPERSTARS!!!!

And let's not act like T-Mac was triple teamed 24/7, or that he is every night. He threw up bricks on iso coverage on numerous occassions, just like he does in the regular season. The guy is not a great % shooter, period.

well... no matter how Ron "fits" Yao-centric Rockets, T-mac can be so much better than Ron. I just realized that after watching Lakers game when Ron just got raped by kobe. I mean, Kobe is good, but T-mac could have at least challange Kobe.

the difference between ron and tma is clearly obviouse,

    ron tmac
    physical soft
    better defender no defnse
    hustle lazy
    better scorer when healthy

has a look of criminal sleepy eyes

a healthy tmac is certainly better than ron
but tmac needs to demand the ball less and move more if he wants to fit with this team

ron needs to post up, and drive slash more instead of settling for jumpers. he's a good shooter but not consistent enough for that to be his move, he's better than he's playing right now.

he did get owned by kobe though.

Are you talking about the play-offs when Luther Head was 1-for-20, Battier 0-for-everything, and Yao was loosing the ball. Well since no one else could handle the ball nor score, everything fell on T-mac's shoulders. Who else was going to make a basket? Name me one other player on the Rockets roster that was going to make a basket?
